If you want to know if a place can prepare good Thai food order a dead simple dish and see how they do. This is not a difficult cuisine to master but it does require some care. Thai Me Up failed in every way. “Spicy fried Rice” should be spicy. Trace amounts of chili paste and no fresh or even whole dried chili do not do it, even in Idaho. You might also expect that the rice would be fried (first it is dried out some to crisp) sticky glop is what I was served. Ratios of ingredients matter. but not to their “chef”. My dish was 4 cups rice, 1/2 scallion a few shreds of egg, way too much shredded carrot too much vinigar and no heat at all. The extra tofu was 4 small pieces, not fried for a crispy exterior just tossed in. The wilted cilantro pile and thumbnail sized lime slice did not redeem it. They obviously do not care at all about quality of what they serve. And only $17.
Beer is fine, but food is not great. Burgers very small, fries were soggy and Thai curry not authentic at all. Lighting is horrible, as well, and music is way too loud. Even for a Monday night, it was dead, and I think for good reason. Servers look like they just crawled out of bed.
Was excited about this as it is not often that I can eat Thai food while my hubster has a burger! For thai we had pad thai and green curry. both were HUGE portions...and they were a 3 out of 5. Husband and son each had a burger. They served my son a rare burger (it was a kids burger too). I believe things on the kids menu are always supposed to be well done? Our server was lovely. My only issue is that they play Wu-tang for the hour and a half we were there...if you don't know who that is...they have explicit lyrics that I would have preferred for my child to not hear. I mentioned it to the server, and she said that the cooks like it, and that she had tried to get them to change it. There were three other families in the restaurant with children aside from us, and it was 5:30 on a wednesday evening. Seems a bit much....
I don’t see any Thai faces here, so my expectation is not high. Drinks are better than food.Limited menu. Taste good. Pride is also reasonable.
Used to be great, but now just very mediocre. Back in the glory days 10+ years ago their food was delicious, curries, wings with sambal, crispy tofu etc. The last 2 times we went the curries had frozen vegetables and tasted like jar sauce. The cocktails were still decent, but had way too much ice in them. Staff are a bunch of ski bums who couldn't care less about service, just 20%+ tips.
Visited with family and friends, not too crowded in the early evening. Nice selection of local brews and helpful staff. I had basil fried rice with beef, which was spiced well and plentiful. We sat outside. mid-range price (for Jackson)
Not Thai; more like refried frozen pot stickers & egg rolls that were very oily. Salad was a handful of prepared mixed greens w/ carrot slivers from the grocery store w/ a few halved cherry tomatoes & a bottled peanut salad dressing.
Eh, I thought the Thai food was okay, but nothing spectacular.I ordered the Drunken noodle. It tasted too sweet and not spicy at all. Not sure if I could even call it Drunken noodle. Definitely was their own spin on the dish.Lots of draft selection of Melvin brewery. The beers were definitely good. I would go back for the beers.
Helpful staff and a lively atmosphere. Thai food was delicious, and so was the burger which is pretty impressive. The only reason that I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the portions are crazy huge and they should let you know. Also the bathrooms were absolutely atrocious. Overall I would recommend when visiting.
Wonderful dinner. Started with the Shishito peppers. Mild heat with the squeeze of lime. Really good. Then ordered the Tom Kha Gai. Really nice soup. Warms the soul on a cold night.Knew I wouldn't be able to finish it, but wanted to try the Khao Soi Curry. Really good dish with those crunchy fried noodles. Rest to go. Portions large.Only little gripe. In the chilly months, winter, it'd be nice if you offered Hot Green or Jasmine tea. Be nice to have with dinner or lunch when cold outside.

Phenomenal place. Back in July we got seated close to closing thanks to the grace of the manager who attended our table and was a joy the whole evening. It capped off our whole Yellowstone/Jackson experience with great food and fantastic Melvin beer. Will be back any time in Jackson for sure!
Food was ok. I had the General Thai Chicken. The chicken itself was very tasty but everything else was ok. Service was a bit slow because they seemed understaffed. The servers themselves were nice.
cute exteriorinside does nit match the vibes of the exteriorlimited items on the menu.not authentic
It was good, the crispy Brussel sprouts were really good, but the drunken noodles was ok, not as good as many Thai places I have been
Service is attentive, food came out quick. The mussaman curry had some root vegetables in it for a nice surprise. The pad Thai was good too!
