I enjoyed one of the 4-ounce burgers and fries for dinner. My impression is that The Bird prefers to serve them one temp lower than most places do, so consider ordering one degree more well-done than your normal preference. Our server was entertaining and helpful; he was attentive without hovering. The only significant criticism I have is that the location is one of several business in a cluster and it lacks clear signage to the entrance at the back. Parking is very limited near the restaurant, so we had to park out close to the highway and negotiate about 100 yards of snow-covered pavement to the entrance despite the bar/restaurant not being very busy.

This is comfort food at it's finest! The staff are friendly and efficient. The vibe here is perfect for sitting on the patio and watching the sunset. It's also the kind of place to make a new friend since you'll most likely be sharing a picnic table.

Dog friendly on their deck with beautiful outdoor views. Great foods. The buffalo hot wing sauce was amazing! We also had the Philly and French dip were equally as great. Not in the middle of Jackson so easier to get in

Great view and service. The food was okay but a bit pricey for what you get. The thing that threw me off was the bun was an English muffin. It did not hold up well. I think you can ask for a regular bun.

This place is a class act! Went there with 3 friends and we all had a great time. Loved the steak & eggs, and the beers were tasty.
The servers were terrific; great vibe and wonderful views sitting outside on the patio. Some locals told us to go there, and I can see why.
Wings are cooked very well, and the garlic parm was great. Service is great, and so are the views and seating. Burgers are a bit tall (and greasy, but hey it’s a burger), but they’re good. Beer selection is pretty extensive.

The Bird is about a 10 minute drive, around 5 miles south of Jackson city center. The place is okay, not bad and not great. What makes it stand out is the price. It is cheaper compared to other restaurants in Jackson and the serving portions are big, so if you are looking for affordable meals this is your place.
We ordered garlic Parmesan wings and the sauce was really good but the chicken itself was dry, probably overcooked. We also ordered a burger medium but it came out more done than expected. The fries were pretty good though.
This place is kid friendly and wheelchair accessible. You find your own seat where you feel comfortable and they will serve you after. Overall it is a decent spot if you want big servings and good prices, but the food quality was just okay.

The place is very Average American bar/eatery… the tables are sticky, and the place smells old, however the bar has a good vibe as long as you’re in for drinking. The food is OK but definitely not outstanding ..we had a burger that was shoved into Skinny English muffins (😳) and the Schnitzer was paperthin. Basically, the breading was thicker than the meat itself with no flavor. Also it came with a bowl of chips… that was very dry! There were no garnish or anything to juice it up. ..chef Ramsey would have tossed the plates out to the field😂 service was OK but again very forgettable.
