Great dining experience. Smoked trout dip is always fantastic. Elk tenderloin was beautifully prepared and creme brulee was delicious. The people working there are equally great. One of the best spots in Jackson.

Everything was again excellent: the foods the ambience, the drinks, the wine , and the service.

Relaxing, with wonderful staff delivering a unique experience based on their knowledge of the menu and each items.

Delicious dinner - the trout dip was very tasty and not fishy. The Wyoming pops - short ribs- were tender and nicely seasoned. The steelhead trout entrees arrived with a mix of seasonings - the dukkah was an unexpected enhancement - quite yummy. The elk was the most tender! Not gamey with two types of sauces. Would highly recommend! The blood orange crème brûlée was decadent!

Quite possibly the most delicious dinner (maybe ever!?) and best service of all time. The king salmon was exquisite—best we have ever had. Cooked perfectly. Exotic mushroom with burrata cheese pasta was extraordinary. The ribeye melted in our mouth. And the crab cake and seafood chowder were A+++. Marcus, Drew, and Jean Paul made the evening the standout of our trip as we celebrated our special occasion. Of all the restaurants in Jackson, this one is hands down the best. Flavor, quality, just perfection. Worth every penny. And save room for the carrot cake!

The food is excellent, the drinks are great, the staff couldn't be more accommodating and attentive, the noise level is low enough so one can easily hear their dinner companions, and the ambience is terrific. What is there not to love about the restaurant!

We spent 9 days in Jackson and our very last meal was at The Whistling Grizzly. This was THE BEST meal we’ve had on this entire trip! The service was phenomenal, we never needed for anything, and the staff gave us suggestions on which appetizer to try. We started with the smoked idaho steelhead trout dip. It had a nice crisp layer of cheese baked on top, and the dip was just delicious. Not fishy tasting at all! We both got the rocky mountain elk tenderloin and this was cooked to perfection! The meat was so tender, melted in your mouth, and flavorful by itself. It was complimented wonderfully with the red eye au jus and huckleberry gastrique. 10/10 recommend The Whistling Grizzly and we hope to visit them again soon! -The Johnsons from Florida

This is our 5th time in Jackson, and by far the best meal we've had the pleasure to enjoy. This is a cutting edge big city restaurant in a small community. Lots of seasonal choices and farm/range/river to table items. The elk tartare was exquisite and a perfect example, as was the local trout. And the blood orange crème brûlée was an amazing way to end the meal. Our server, Jean-Paul, is a real pro.

Loved the atmosphere! Came here with my best but such a cute and fun place for a date with a special one. Wayne was our server and he was amazing! Definitely recommend! The steak and Old fashion exceeded my expectations!

We just noticed that Wyoming inn has this restaurant at their first floor, just near to the lobby. I didn't make any reservation, but the host also let us in and select a table closed to the fireplace. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, and the furnished style is closed to the whole feeling of the hotel. Food is great but a little bit pricy. The overall experience is nice and worth a try especially if you stay at the hotel!

Great experience. We have some food intolerance issues and the chef and waiter teamed up to provide an amazing experience. They tweaked a dish for my wife and spent some good time discussing her tastes and presences with her before coming up with an amazing solution.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here! It is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had (and I’m originally from TX). The crème brûlée was so yummy and refreshing as well!Don’t let the interior design fool you-it really is absolutely delicious!
