Tijuana Authentic Mexican Restaurant, located in Jackson, offers an authentic Mexican dining experience. The restaurant's atmosphere and decor reflect true Mexican culture, and the staff are all Mexican, enhancing the authenticity. The lively ambiance is complemented by mariachi-style music playing, creating an enjoyable environment.
The menu features a variety of dishes, such as the delicious and savory breakfast burrito, and the tasty shrimp tacos with a spicy sauce. Customers have also enjoyed dishes like tilapia and Pollo ranchero, finding them flavorful and well-prepared. The beans served are notably better than the typical paste, adding to the meal's appeal. Although some dishes like the enchiladas mole were less flavorful, overall the food is appreciated for its taste and freshness, with meals coming out hot and quickly.
The restaurant could improve by offering complete silverware for all customers, proactively refilling water glasses, and providing better service by attending to requests promptly. Despite these minor issues, Tijuana Authentic Mexican Restaurant still delivers a genuine Mexican experience that attracts both local visitors and those from out of town, including visitors from Mexican food-centric cities.
