As a road warrior having travelled all over the US and abroad, I make a habit of finding local Mexican food, and have always found that Lira's always comes out on top in my opinion. Been eating there since the 70's, and have never been disappointed. Great, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Stop in and taste the best!

If you grew up in California in the 80s and ate at a Mexican restaurant and enjoyed the food then get ready for a flashback . I have never been here before but immediately recognized the cheese enchiladas and tacos from my childhood . The food is not over-seasoned . The tortillas are homemade as well as the beans and rice What a great experience ! They have been open 51 years for a reason !!

Simply the best tacos and food ever. You do not find taco shells like Lira's make. We traveled from Arizona to have Lira's food. So, so good! ?

I started coming to Lira’s in the 80s. Their tacos never disappoint. Sadly I live in Oregon now, but anytime I’m within 3 hours of Lira’s, I make sure I’m able to stop.
Been wanting to try this place for years. Glad I got that out of my system. Food was tasteless, and they didn't even have hot sauce, only salsa. Service was not good either. Would not recommend this
