There are lots of choices for picky eaters. Price is reasonable for the portions. Great view. Would come again.
I mean it's a cafeteria. I wasn't going in expecting a Michelin review on the wall. I had a solid pile of pulled pork and my son had some tasty mac and cheese. The corn on the cob was meh but this place isn't that bad if you're hungry. I went 5 stars because they are way underrated. Prob a 4.1 spot.
Simple cafeteria to grab a quick bite and take a break in the Old Faithful area. It's a cafeteria in a National Park so adjust your expectations accordingly. Several different stations serving different foods.
Look around, pick your items, head to the register, and grab any open table.
Cafeteria is exactly what this is. You go through with trays and they put it on a plate for you. Our family had the pizza, pulled chicken, and pulled pork... needless to say they were all gross. The chicken tasted soured and the pork was fatty and grimy tasting. The BBQ sauce might as well have been Marinara sauce and the pizza was essentially a brick. So we spent $130 on food and hardly ate any of it because it gross. Definitely do not recommend. Try one of the others in the area.
This is just not good food by any means of the imagination nobody in our group finished there food . Bring your own food do not eat here !
Old Faithful Lodge Cafeteria & Bake Shop gets a 3 out of 5 rating from me. Here’s the lowdown…
What’s Good:
The chicken was moist and flavorful—one of the best cafeteria-style proteins I’ve had in Yellowstone
The mac and cheese was tasty, and the baked beans were okay
You get a great view of Old Faithful while eating, especially from the dining area or the adjacent bake shop seating
The staff are friendly and helpful, which makes grabbing a quick meal more pleasant
The Not-So-Good:
The cafeteria is expensive, as you’d expect in a park setting
Food quality is inconsistent—some folks find it underwhelming, even “horrid” according to a former employee
Options are limited, especially if you’re looking for something more than standard cafeteria fare .
Overall Take:
If you need a quick bite with a view, this cafeteria does the job. The meat is decent, the atmosphere is nice, and it’s convenient. Just don’t come expecting gourmet food. It’s serviceable and scenic, but not worth going out of your way for.
The vegetarian bratwurst is confirmed vegan, and was great! There is also a hummus gyro you could order without tzakiki. Plenty of plant based topping options available, and they also have oat milk.
The view is beautiful

- The food is pretty decent, there’s a main cafeteria that’s open for lunch and dinner that has themes of different foods, including barbecue, Indian, Greek, hotdogs. The pricing is actually really decent. I would say about $10-$15 per person. In the mornings, there’s a small café style kiosk open that coffee and dry food/cereal/bagels. The people are so nice and kind, they give generous heapings of food and are really happy to show you the different offerings. The food actually tastes really good. We had the barbecue tofu, chicken and chicken tikka masala which comes with rice and naan. And the portion size was big enough for two people I felt - the tofu was around 9.95, bbq chicken was 13.95, and the chicken tikka masala was 17.95. The bison vindaloo was pricey at 24.95. All in all, this place was a great stay, clean, friendly service, and perfect location.

Really cool place to eat, but the lines are incredibly long for absolutely No reason, the food is really overpriced, and the pulled pork we got made us sick. If you were to imagine a cafeteria run by the government, this is exactly that.

It's fast, affordable and pretty good. Kids liked, wife liked. Can even take out to see the eruption. Other reviewers have strange expectations.

Probably one of the very best restaurant options in the park for lunch. Very decently priced, tons of options and filling good food. Doesn’t compare to normal restaurants in real cities but you can’t expect that here.
Pretty decent!
There a few options for dining!
Italian indian and sandwiches etc
I would say for the price range and facility its pretty good
Depending on how you are timing your yellowstone activities, you can stop here for lunch, atleast thats what we did

We had both lunch and dinner at this place couple of times. Food overall is not bad but not great either. Once I tried Falafel Gyro. It never tasted like Falafel at all. Other Indian foods were good. Chicken tikka masala, coconut shrimp curry and alu chole tasted great. You can enjoy good view of Old Faithful Geyser while having your food and drink. Considering this is Wyoming and getting Indian food at this remote National Park is a big deal. What else do you want !!
Kid-friendliness: You can get ice cream here too.

Some of the better luncheon food we've eaten in Yellowstone -- nothing spectacular, but suitably tasty. I had Buffalo Vindaloo, and it had plenty of kick.
Service from behind the line, at the register, and folk bussing trays, all was friendly and helpful.
The cafeteria itself (the seating area, at least) was nicely classic, with windows overlooking Old Faithful itself. I wouldn't plan on eating while the geyser was going off, but it's still scenic.
Overall, would definitely tag this as a place to come back to on a future visit, not necessarily as a destination but as a place to eat lunch while visiting Old Faithful.
