We were in a rush and wanted 2 cans of beer to go. The bartender gave us two beers and I gave him a 20.00 bill. Our ride showed up and I grabbed my change and beer and left. When we were about 3 miles down the road I counted my change and he gave me $6.00 out of a 20.00 bill. Therefore charging 7.00 for a 3.00 beer. If that isn't stealing I don't know what is. We called the bar and talked to the owner and he said he would send us our 14.00 but when he heard our address was in Montana. He hung up on us. So moral of this story is do not go to this bar in Meeteetse. As they are thiefs. I would not go to Meeteetse or recommend it to anyone., as businesses cheat tourist passing thru.

Their pizza is good that is true. Everything else is not good and their service is non existent. They will randomly close on certain days for no reason. They never answer the phone for to go orders. Their chicken fingers was literally the worst meal I have ever had. If you're in Meeteetse, skip it and go to the Elkhorn just 20 feet further or just go straight to Cody to eat it's only 28 min more away.

Hands down, the best pizza I’ve had (aside from Giordano’s Chicago style). I love the little hole in the wall type places in small towns. They usually have the best food and service! It’s a very cool place!

My partner and I took a beautiful Sunday drive to Meeteetse and wanted to have pizza at the Cowboy Bar & Outlaw Cafe. We arrived before 3pm and Karen (owner) was working the Bar. Karen is the quintessential bar keep-friendly, outgoing, fun to chat with, etc. We ordered a couple beers and pizza and because Karen is the type of person you want to hang with; we invited her to pull up a chair and have a beverage. The freshly prepared pizza arrived (The Cowboy), a great ratio of crust, sauce, fixings and the flavor was delicious! I love the rustic charm of the Cowboy Bar-turning back the hands of time to when things were simpler and possibly more pure. We thank Karen and the cook for a delightful lunch!
