“My fiance and I went on our first date her about a year ago. It has become a regular for us. Normally the food and service is great. Tonight, we would rate everything a 3 out of ten. This isn't normall for J's. They had open tables, and where steady but I wouldn't say over busy. Jaden our waiter, had us wait for a good 20 minutes before ever greeting us, and that was after my fiance had to ask another waiter of we had a server. He came out and apologized explaining he didn't relize we where his table and that he was focused on the other 4 tables he had. We where polite and said it's ok, hoping things would turn around. Prior to that the waiter my fiance asked of we had a server got our drink orders for the bar. He had put on order and we seen him show our waiter. The drinks came out and sat at the barsode forever. we knew they where our drinks, and he never brought them. Do my fiance just grabbed them for us. My meal was suppose to come with a salad and fresh baked bread. He never asked me what salad I wanted. in fact didn't even plan on bringing me my salad. Again my fiance had to ask about it. He replies to us that oh that is an option and did I want it. Um yes I do. Dinner was a little slow getting out. When he finally decided to bring us our food, the portion of mine is very small compared to what it had been in past. I had the blackend chicken pasta with asparagus. It was good, hot bit did have huge chunks of garlic just random in it. I have had this before and normally again not that small and the garlic isn't normally huge chunks. I love Garloc, however it was a little over powering and also leaves garlic breath. I never got the fresh baked bread. My lady tried something new the margaritas flat bread. It was ok. Not amazing, was a little soggy, and would be so much better of wasn't huge whole slices of tomato vs cut up pieces. The cheese was not melted all the way, and would be better with shredded mozzarella and then melted chunks of the fresh. The server was ok. Wasn't attentive, didn't check on us or keep drinks full. Now since this isn't the norm, we will try again and hope it's back to our normal experiences. I did notice two other couples that where on 1st dates, and hopefully not there 1st time here as of this is there 1st experience om sure they wouldn't want to give this another chance. The last thing is the rewards system was down and we didn't get our normall rewards as we are regulars to J's and the others that are part of the program. I wanted to speak to a manager but my lady is pretty care free and told me "no". Just wanted to express my "muh" experience tonight. I hope this isn't a way they are going.“

“The food was good. The waffle fry nachos were great. It was a good place to watch the derby. The staff seems to be friendly. I'm not a huge fan of all the gambling places, but this place seems to pair the gaming and restaurant components together well.“

“We ate at The Fort a couple weeks ago, I had the ribeye, my wife had the prime rib sandwich, both were excellent and serving size was large. Enjoyed our waitress , she was attentive, and fun. Will be eating there again next time we come your way!“
