I never eaten here before but as a historical tid bit for you, The Three Stooges have eaten here back in September of 1969. If it was good enough for them, it'll be good enough for you too. I will visit this restaurant when they open for the 2026 season as I have visited several places they were filming for their last movie Kooks Tour in 1969.

Good place to grab a bite and a drink. Can get a little crowded at dinner

Awesome meal at Colter's Ranch House. Two of us had Wapiti (elk) burgers and the other two had bison burgers. Both were excellent. Two of the women had Huckleberry margaritas. They both loved them. The best part of the meal was Wally. He was a very friendly, fun waiter. Really enjoyed our time with him. Hate we are only here for one night. Would have liked to have spent more time.

The location and service were good. I ordered the Bison burger and it was so overcooked that it was burnt and all I could taste was the char. It was also dry. The fries in my plate and my friend's plate were both cold and not crispy. Very disappointing meal. I will not come back. I recommend people eat elsewhere

The food here was really disappointing and not worth the price. Had the square g burger, kids chicken tenders, and moran view salad. All three items were lack luster. Idk how you mess up chicken tenders but they did. Burger was one of the most disappointing Ive had from a restaurant in recent memory. Everything was edible and thats about it. Chef needs to up their game.
Our server was good. Very friendly. Only reason I am giving two stars.

Will this restaurant blow your mind? No. Is it the best food and value for a Grand Teton park restaurant? Yes. If you’ve got a group of 4 or more, definitely do the family platter. A great deal for plenty of food.

Highly disappointed. Very expensive meal for just a grilled chicken sandwich on a bun with a fancy sauce and a hamburger and fries with a fancy name. Expensive drinks in little cups too. You basically are paying for eating at a restaurant in Grand Teton. Two cups of chili, a chicken sandwich, a hamburger, and two orders of fries with two mini margaritas … $120.00. Proceed at your own risk.

Having given our names and told there was a ten minute wait we enquired after half an hour, apparently they called our name and someone took our place!!
Menu was varied , table service was fine, food uninspiring and average in taste .

Menu says “1/3 pound” burgers but was a total lie, it was disappointingly small about the size of a McDonalds burger. $36 short ribs were overcooked and had 0 seasoning. Restaurants in other Teton lodges were way better don’t settle for this place!

Review of The Ranch House at Colter Bay – A Once in a Lifetime Experience

I cannot put into words how truly extraordinary our experience at The Ranch House at Colter Bay in Grand Teton National Park was, but I will try. My wife and I celebrated our wedding here with a party of 40, and from start to finish, the staff went above and beyond in every imaginable way.

On less than a month’s notice, the team not only welcomed us, but designed a custom menu tailored specifically for our group, and even arranged a private area inside the restaurant for us to celebrate together. Every single dish came out perfectly, timely, and beautifully prepared. That kind of service for a group our size is nothing short of remarkable.

What touched us even more deeply was the kindness and generosity of the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by both the manager and our server who knew us by name. As a newlywed LGBTQ+ couple, my wife and I felt completely celebrated and embraced here, which is something that made our day even more meaningful.

The staff’s thoughtfulness did not stop there. After our lunch, they surprised us with an entire bottle of champagne to toast our marriage, even though champagne is not something they normally sell. On top of that, they gifted my wife, our immediate family, and me with complimentary desserts, turning the afternoon into something we will remember for the rest of our lives.

This was not just lunch. The Ranch House made us feel like family, and they gave us a wedding celebration that was joyful, seamless, and unforgettable. We left with empty plates, full stomachs, and hearts overflowing with gratitude, carrying memories we will cherish forever in a place as breathtaking as the Tetons.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. To anyone visiting Grand Teton National Park, do yourself a favor and experience The Ranch House. And to the incredible staff, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You gave us the gift of a perfect wedding celebration, and we will never forget it.
