Ordered on the app, waited 20 minutes to pick up the order. Waited in line for 20 more minutes the app order was not ready or even started, everything was dirty, one poor guy in there making sandwiches and a line of people. On top of that sandwiches were wrong. Newcastle is the worst subway I have ever been to by far.

Ordered lunch through app. Was told 12:10 pick up. So went to the store and waited a bit. Previously due to a disability I was told to ask for orders to be brought out to my car. Added that to special instructions. 1210 the app says order ready. Great a little busy so I figured it would be a few minutes longer. I wait and wait. I saw a friend inside and messaged her she checked no food. Said they told her not ready yet. Oh ok weird, as I said app said it was done. Several more people enter and leave after I had ordered. Finally at 1235 an employee comes out and says “uh we don’t have the bread you wanted” this is 25 minutes past my being told it was ready. I have ordered before and had a call immediately to say we don’t have your bread style would you like a substitute? Not this time I sat in the parking area 45 minutes total. I went full Karen on the kid and said forget it cancel my order and refund my money. I sent a complaint to their corporate site, as of yet no refund. Just because it is a small town and there is not many fast casual places to choose from doesn’t give you permission for poor customer service. The kicker is right on the door is their phone number but call it and no answer. I inquired about that once and was told that the owners have put in place a rule to not answer phones. Really makes sense when it clearly says contact us.

Went for lunch today right around 2pm. After going in store there were no workers or customers. I walked around for a few min and then grabbed chips and a drink and set them by the counter. I then opened door multiple times to get bell to go off and waited a few more minutes and still no service. Left and got taco johns.

We were in Newcastle for a couple soccer games and decided to get the kids lunch at Subway. We walked in and had to wait for a decent length of time before we could even order our sandwiches (around 45 minutes total). Apparently the other person who was supposed to be working was a no call no show so it was ONE person working. Poor girl had been going non stop, no bathroom breaks, lunch break or even a chance to quench her thirst. She was friendly, but visibly exhausted. Kudos to her for working through her shift with zero help. Location was clean and food was fresh.
