I reached out to the police several months ago regarding a series of mutual hate crimes committed against me, including trespassing on private property, breach of peace, and various forms of harassment—both verbal and online—threats to kill me -targeting my sexuality and race. While the officers initially appeared friendly and assured me they would investigate and keep me informed, I never received any follow-up communication. I find this complete lack of response extremely disappointing and, as a result, I have no intention of returning for assistance.

I'm so disappointed in police here!! You are to protect and serve!! Not add to the bullying of our children!! Yesterday cops were called to library for a woman who was talking to little kids had no business doing so!! Instead of running this woman's name you took this woman's side and threatened charges if cussing wasn't stopped!! As a child and a human being if approached in a rude manner or talked to by a Stanger what do you want them to do? Jump in their van? Respect is something you earn! Thanks for supporting our children and protecting them great job powell police department!!!! I already contacted you!! And as for the behavior you make it sound like they were vandalizing or being violent. This was a simple woman that didn't like the response she got!! It was uncalled for!! The only thing the kid did was tell this woman off. I tell people off all the time when people are rude! There was no crime committed except a stranger talking to little boys like a pedifile! It's fine!!!! If I have to hang out with my kid everywhere he goes so this doesn't happen again I will.
