Hey! Well, this is quite a surprise. Just roll into town and show up at the old Aspen for a steak. Wow that was quite a steak. Highly recommended not just for celebrating your birthday or anniversary. It's just a good spot to celebrate life.

We were just passing through Rawlins and looking for a good dinner... and the Aspen House delivered!! We had the lobster ravioli and blackened ribeye. Both were delicious and the flavor was amazing. Service was above and beyond, very attentive. We also enjoyed the old-home ambiance, creating a cozy, intimate experience.

I come from the south where steak are cooked extremely good and have seasoning, i wanted to try this place because im a heavy meat eater and im visting this town because of work, and when searching for a steak house This restaurant cuaght my eye. This place disappointed me. I asked medium for my steak and when they brought it It was burnt all along the edge, and one side of my steak was nothing but char, and my wife asked for medium well, and her steak came out way worse on the char, where she got grossed out and one side was med and the other side well done . Maybe it was an off day for them, but for what we had to pay, which was 130$ , it was really disappointing. We also had our toddler with us, and this was not a place for a toddler in our opinion, but we did bring him during his bedtime, so it was not a good mix for a sit down type of dinner . We did get seated fairly quickly, and our food came out 15 mins after our order was placed!

Amazing food and service. We had reservations and it was a Tuesday night. The restaurant was packed with what we could tell 2 servers. I figured we'd be waiting forever and our food would be subpar and cold. I was SO wrong! The service was perfect, the food hot and delicious and the wait perfectly timed between appetizer and entree. What a gem! If you find yourself in Rawlins Wyoming, treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice little restaurant, server was amazing and super friendly and suggested some of their best options. We had the Rib eye steak and grilled shrimp with rosemary potatoes and Chicken Fettuccine with the Baton Rouge sauce (must try) definitely will eat here again
