This truly is a top-of-the-line steakhouse, a gem in a small town. I have to agree with its bold claim of having the best steak in Wyoming. The Silver Fox is the only other steakhouse that I consider to be in the same league. I’ve occasionally been to out-of-state steakhouses with twice the price tags, yet they still fall short of these two.
While they do serve a quite respectable lunch, dinner is most certainly their specialty. Although it’s not a good option if you’re in a hurry, the waitstaff are always attentive and engaged. Their Singapore Beef is as delicious as it is creative. Their fillet mignon is warm even if ordered blue. Their horseradish sauce is incredible. Their lamb is delicious, but less suited for those with large appetites.
Their dessert options never disappoint, though I would not go as far as claiming dessert to be their specialty.

I am from Ohio and I make it a point to stop here to have the lobster ravioli with Alfredo sauce and the taste is awesome. They are the only restaurant that I have found that has made it perfectly to the point you want to lick the bowl clean. I highly recommend stopping here to eat.

Unexpected find while passing through Rawlins. The traditional steak-house fare is all excellent, and served hot and fast. The chef/owner is from Indonesia and includes some Asian options: we tried the spring rolls (Lumpia) which were also excellent. Wonderfully friendly service in a classy but homey atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We saw a sign telling us that the Aspen House sold the best steak in Wyoming, Worth a visit we thought. We were greeted by a nice chap and the initial service was excellent. The food, two pasta dishes, the Rib Eye and a rack of lamb, were good sized, I asked for the rack of lamb medium rare and it came quite rare. The garlic mash was too heavily garliced for my liking. A friend ordered the seafood pasta with a spicy sauce, her request was to moderate the spice but it was still over spiced for her taste. The other two meals were fine but nothing to get too excited about. Good enough is what we would say.
When it came to clearing the plates three were removed quickly but the fourth was some ten minutes before being taken.
I feel like 3 stars is a reasonable reflection of the service and food we were served.
Absolutely exceeded expectations. Classy, friendly and excellent food.

Truly exceptional in all categories! Ribeye was cooked just right and tasted wonderful. My wife’s salmon was perfect, which is not common among most restaurants. Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable and conducive to a pleasant experience, especially the soft music.
