The drinks were on par with other good places I have visited. My mocha with coconut was really good and the espresso was smooth with not too much liquid and not too bitter. A nice draw indeed! I would return and recommend you stop in if you happen to be travelers buzzing through like us. They have a nice little shop and cute plants for sale too. We did not get food but it smelled delicious too.
Great coffee (iced brown sugar and cinnamon shaken espresso) and a delicious breakfast sandwich made from a Belgian waffle! Sure started out our morning the right way.
Caleb was super friendly and polite!
Refreshingly great food. They take the time to make everything fresh right in front of you. When most coffee shops are heating up pre-made meals in the microwave, these guys are taking the time to do it right and the difference is immense. We'll be back here every time we drive through Rawlins
Will be going back
Ordered a cappuccino. Was not a cappuccino. Super heavy. Not foamy at all :(
Great homemade syrups
Service was good, but my Americano tasted a little sour
Driving through town on a road trip and was VERY pleased with the quality of the coffee as well as the quality of the service. Such a neat place, definitely a 5 star experience
What an amazing find. We were looking for a local coffee shop to get some breakfast and coffee/tea. We came at a time where they needed to close early… and felt bad. But the owner treated us amazingly, cooking some of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Plus using his own roasted beans, made a super smooth pour over.
Feel bad we showed up and asked, but astounded at the quality of the shop. 100% worth stopping by if you get a chance, and enjoy quality coffee in WY. We will be back.

The food was excellent quality, the barista was refreshingly amicable, and the atmosphere radiated both calming and family friendly. I will certainly return to Mukwano whenever I'm in Rawlins and recommend it to friends.

Some of the best service that I've had at a coffee shop. And definitely up there with some of the best drip coffee I have had.
Some of the reviews said they had pastries but they didn't the Monday morning that I went, but they do have a few menu items. 9% off for using your own cup!

The coffee options must be dismal in Rawlins.
First off, my disappointment: donuts.
It was a Saturday, and they exclusively make donuts on Saturdays. It was one of the main reasons coming here versus the other place in town, the other being this spot was closer to the freeway.
Being an exclusive item, I imagined it would be good! Especially considering these donuts were tiny, and the price was $2+ per donut. Also, the cashier assured me the donuts were amazing.
They were as dense as a biscuit, denser even. They turned into a thick, gummy mush in my mouth. Consuming them was a challenge.
Those donuts are not worth $2, not even $.50.
Utter disappointment.
For coffee, I had their drip. Rwanda roast was in the pot . The coffee was OK, maybe the even subpar. Very watered down coffee flavor.
Maybe their espresso is better, but somehow I doubt it.
Didn’t stay too long to appreciate this atmosphere everyone is talking about, but honestly, it just looked like a hole in the wall coffee shop.
Overall experience was meh.
