Updating my review from a few years ago. Recent experience was reminiscent of how it was for many years....amazing. Food was great and waiting staff was exceptional. Very nice to see some restaurants making the recovery from covid and making the changes necessary to bring back customer service. Highly recommend for locals or travelers needing a quick bite.
This is so hometown. We went Saturday morning, and you could tell who the regulars were. They all had coffee and waitresses knew their orders. We had the funniest waitress. They have a mountain man breakfast--2 eggs and has browns + meat on one plate & 2 really big biscuits with sausage gravy on the other. You can get 1/2.
My husband ordered it. "You want 1/2?" She said. "No, the whole thing."
