Absolutely a must try when in Rock Springs. I’m sure this is a local favorite, where as it would be one of mine!

Traveled many hours to have eaten here and in the future I certainly will do it again. I was blown away by the quality of food! Great job and 5 ⭐️stars all the way around!

Local restaurant charm set inside what looks to be an original building dating back to the heyday of steam trains.

There is plenty of parking outside in the street. Staff was friendly and helpful in getting orders and drinks.

The food was excellent and well seasoned. You know you will get good food when the salsa and bean dip are good, along with having warm chips.

The kids' meal portions were the right size for the tikes, along with the unique treat of cotton candy as desert.

Great place to stop on you travels across HWY 80 for lunch or dinner.

I read John Pratt’s review and I took his suggestion to seek this disk out. I ordered the “Molcajete de la casa”. Molcajete is the mortar bowl that it is served in. In the bottom of the bowl is a chili relleno smothered in a mildly spicy salsa with queso cheese on top, chicken, beef, grilled cactus leaf and bacon wrapped shrimp. It includes a separate plate of rice and beans plus your choice of corn or flour tortillas. It was amazing. Bring your appetite because this is a lot of food.

EXCELLENT Service, Authentic dishes, great portions. I think, after 6 years (I know .. why so long without going in) I finally found my go to Mexican restaurant.

Great rice. Great seasoning on all the food. Good service. I'll definitely be stopping again the next time I am traveling along I-80.

Placed delivery order. They blew me off. Never delivered food and closed store. Called twice. Waited forever. U people should not be in business

If you're looking for authentic fresh Mexican food with super friendly service... COME HERE!!! You will definitely not leave hungry, portions are perfect! We loved the atmosphere, this place is a hidden gem in Downtown Rock Springs! Thank you, we WILL be back :-)

My husband’s food was okay, a little overcooked but mine was terrible. I asked for vegetable fajitas and this was what I got. Steamed broccoli, cauliflower, dried up carrots and celery, with about 1/4 cup of onions and peppers. They were thrown out on the fajita pan, nothing was grilled. It took a half hour to get our food. And after that, not a single person made eye contact with us, no one came to get our money to pay our bill. We put our money on the table and left. Would never eat here again.

Easy parking and a beautiful place. Every colorful chair and table is hand painted and unique. Servers are very attentive and nice. Food was delicious, and they know how to use cheese, which says a lot. The natchos had a nice big blob of sour cream. If you want spicy sauce, you have to ask for it. Margaritas were powerful, but vodka drink not so much. A nice family friendly atmosphere lives here.

We decided to stop in a few months ago and were really disappointed. The service was the worst part. But, I didnt judge. People have hard days.
Today we ordered delivery.
For 22 dollars a piece, I received a very sad looking shrimp molcajete that was spilt everywhere in the bag. We also didnt receive any tortillas. We managed to salvage what we could.
And it tastes eh at best.

Would not recommend.

Only plus was that the driver made it on time.
