Brisket should be tender, fall apart, nice fat, not shoeleather. Now husband had ribs and they were good, tender,flavor full. For bbq to be done right, it should not need 2 things, sauce or a knife.

I just deleted my old review. So far I am liking KIP since it has changed to the new owners. Well I think it changed owners. Seems like I cannot get an answer on that. Either way it feels like they are finally getting it together. Before it was hit or miss on whether the pub was open or not. I have been there many times since my old review and never had to leave because of there not being any cooks.

The food has always been amazing but I think it is better...

My Dad and I were so happy to find this place on our road trip! We shared a platter with brisket, ribs, pulled pork, coleslaw & sweet potato fries. The fries were so good we got another order! Super casual dining room, with the pub right next next door!
