Went for brunch for the first time and it was phenomenal first round of mimosas on the house! What!? My steak and eggs were perfect! Leo’s services was so fast I almost missed it!

The food was delicious. I gave it 3 stars for high price and minimal quantity. While the mushroom Swiss burger was very good, it was not worth $25 dollars. It was medium size, and had about 12 fries. The fries were exceptionally good but there should have been at least double the amount of fries for the very high price. My salad was delicious as well. As soon as we got home my son said he was hungry (after spending over $10 on a kids meal, which he ate every last drop of). We left hungry.

We used to be regulars at McGreggor’s when we lived in Sheridan — it was one of our go-to spots, especially for the scallops (which are no longer on the menu, sadly). On a recent visit to town, we decided to order takeout, and the experience was incredibly disappointing.

The kids' meal came with what looked like a disgusting mess — a cup of applesauce with crumbles and melted gummy worms on top. It had clearly been microwaved in the original plastic container, which was still hot when we opened the box. Those containers aren’t microwave-safe, and heating them leaches plastic and chemicals into the KIDS food. There wasn’t even a lid on it, so the hot, sticky mixture spilled all over the chicken nuggets, ruining the meals.

I also ordered the bacon bits, which used to be generous pork belly cubes. Now it's literally two slices of bacon chopped up — not at all what it used to be.

Unfortunately, the quality, care, and attention to detail that once made this place great just aren't there anymore. I wouldn’t recommend it in its current state, nor would I come back.

Great food!

So here is the breakdown...

Caeser Salad: 2 Star - Meat was not anything special and the salad was just ok. The croutons were excellent.

Bacon Bites: 1 Star way over salted

A5 Waygu Sliders: -1 Star Absolutely not up to Japanese A5 Waygu standards... In fact I think a slider at Dairy Queen would be better meat. The bun and veggies were good but the meat patty was truly a joke to be called A5 Waygu. Maybe it was mixed with some other meat.

Dinner bread: Wasn't Bad 4 Stars

Overpriced but good size portions. The view was amazing and service was good.

Unbelievably expensive ( even for Sheridan) for very bad Midwestern style slop. Small burger, school lunch style chicken sandwich and two beers for 82 dollars. I had forgot why we said we were never coming here again and now I fully recall. Good side salad and great service is not enough to justify spending your money here.

Sunday afternoon, not a lot of people in the restaurant so it was nice and quiet. Service was average. The menu on the other hand was over priced. A cheese burger with steak fries was $23, a mushroom swiss burger with steak fries was $25. The burgers were good, but not good enough to justify the price. The bill for two burgers and two Michelob ultras was $63.63.... Tip added was $75!! Ridiculous amount for what we got. 🤷

Food wasn't great, outside of building and website made this place look fantastic, but the food and inside of the restaurant didn't meet the hype. It was disappointing.

Not again. Worst fish and chips ever had - badly overcooked and tasteless. Prices are outlandish for the simplest lunch. This was my second experience and ever worst that the first. Service was great, cooking and prices terrible. At this rate, they won’t be around long.
