Fast seating/service. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Look at this pretzel...🤤
Great place to relax and have a beer. Nice atmosphere and wonderful service.
Very nice looking place, we sat down and were greeted promptly. Then we looked at the menu and the prices and about fell on the floor. We travel quite a bit all around this country and really enjoy brew pubs in particular. I've never seen a group up this expensive before. We turned around and walked out.
Walked in, very pleasant atmosphere, A/C was good, pretty quiet for a Friday @ 5:30. Waiter had no personality; kept a toothpick in his mouth & was all business. Not how you make your tips, young man!! He never came to check on is after we got our food. One in our company had to get his attention to order another beer two separate times. I had ordered off the 'Kiddie' menu, as the Sheridan Melt I wanted was just shy of $27. As it was, the child's burger w/tots was $13, altho it did have good grilled flavor. Two star rating for good flavor ... that's it.
Been coming here for almost four years. The service has always been very good, and the food good most of the time. Recently (a few months ago), they basically doubled their prices (now $27 for a sandwich or burger, and $17 for a small bowl of queso with a small basket
Of chips). Way above my budget! Won’t be coming back until they lower their prices. Honestly, I don’t know how they can stay in business. I was there around 8:30 PM on a Friday night and hardly anyone was there.
Ate there last night. Very expensive for what you got. French fries were under cooked and cold, the grilled cheese was cold and the cheese was like rubber. The fish and the shrimp was done well.
I had to go and ask for menus even though it said seat yourself.
Waiter was very nice
I don't want to write this; I've been a regular for awhile. They've always been expensive, but the food was worth it. It's not any more.
Prices have gone up, the quality is extremely inconsistent/dropping, and they've started adding surprise line items onto the receipt for their business expenses (card processing fees). They charge extra for drinks with kids meals. They have gluten free buns, but recently switched to ones that are pretty terrible (dry). You'll pay around $80 for two adults and two kids, no drinks, before tip.
They have one of the best servers in town and the atmosphere is great. Please turn things around.
As it stands, their food is not worth what they charge for it. Adding card processing fees is what did it for us. Had no idea until the bill showed up.
The Beer is good. If that's all you're going for great. The food is WAY overpriced and skimpy and NOT GOOD
Loved this place. Good beer, great food.
The bourbon peach burger was amazing.
Good pub food-had our dogs with us other patio. n

Smith Alley Brewing is solid. A place that knows its audience and plays it smart. Trendy, approachable, and consistent—a safe bet for beer lovers and casual drinkers alike.
The venue itself is undeniably cool. The kind of industrial-chic space where you sip your beer while overlooking the tanks that made it. There’s a buzz here, a steady stream of patrons that confirms they’ve hit their mark.
As for the beer, it’s true to form. Nothing wild or groundbreaking, but well-crafted and reliable. You’ll find something you like and maybe even come back for. It’s beer you can trust, in a space that feels built for good times.
Smith Alley isn’t chasing fireworks—it doesn’t need to. It’s rooted, steady, and exactly what it aims to be: a place you’ll enjoy every time.

When I pay over $20.00 for a "Signature Burger", I expect it to be larger than a McDonald's Quarter Pounder. The French Fries as well, left a lot to be desired. The Black Pegasus beer was okay, but, I'm pretty sure it was a Knock Off of Mac & Jack's. The atmosphere was tolerable, except for the incessant country music. The service was prompt, and regular. All in all, 2 Stars, for Smith Alley Brewing Co. Not sorry for telling the truth, this place is the epitome of Highway Robbery, and I will never come back. ~T.

I've gone in here a few times over the years. The building and brewing setup is amazing and the beer is actually pretty good now, but you won't see hardly anyone in there because the food is unbelievably expensive for bar food and salads. I think the cheapest thing in there might be a 25 dollar pretzel. I'm sure they will respond with some nonsense about rising prices, but it's over the top expensive and not good and always some pretty rough service. Unless they bring prices down to earth, you won't see me or many other locals in there
