we just had a small wedding here this past weekend and I am horrified over the disrespect the bride received from them. It started from the first encounter. We had a scheduled meeting with Taylor to discuss wedding details we drove from out of town . when we entered we were greeted as if we had shown up for a job interview and we're told Taylor had to go pick someone up from the airport and they would call us back to reschedule our interview. We ended up meeting with a server as our wedding coordinator. Who promised the brides request of getting married over the bridge by a misinster alone to her food spread. Promised everything would be taken care of . The chef was also present and stated that he would get right on this. That was a week out from the wedding. We contacted several people up there to make sure plans were taking place during the week and Noone knew anything about a wedding. Fast forward to the day of the wedding no heat was provided for the room we rented and our elderly family members had to remain in coats ,no chairs were put up we had to place them our selves. Come to the food spread only half of what the bride asked for was provided with no exsplaination along with no napkins plates or cups for 40 guests 1 jug of tea and 1 jug of lemonade and that's it. I personally went down to discuss the distaste we had for the things provide and was talked to first by the chef who got upset about our calm and respectful complaint and stormed off from the conversation. I then sat down with Taylor who promised to accommodate the bride by discounting her wedding only to further disrespect her by only taking $20 off over a $500 plus bill not including tips. The watermelon was cool but other than that very very displeased with the disrespect and service we received . They still collected they're money though.. very unprofessional and I can only imagine how much of a disaster a bigger event must be if they can't handle the tiny request they received from this bride. Shame on all those involved. Very sad because it's a beautiful place... the picture below Is all the food they provided for a catered event...

We went to dinner for our 45th anniversary. We were so disappointed. The service was lacking and the dinner was even worse. My husband had what they called a shrimp boil that only had the shrimp and some bread. My salad was lacking the dressing on the lettuce. There was no prime rib so I had the chicken that was over cooked. I had to ask for the dip for the chicken. The server opened the wine before it was at the table. What has happened to good places to eat. So sad and disappointing. Not recommending this place.

Note: you are required to rent all three cabins. I would call these rustic cabins. They work for the purpose but don't expect a fancy place to sleep. The mosquitoes were so bad we couldn't sit outside, unfortunately. We did encounter nightly visits from a family of deer. It is worth noting that these cabins do not have air conditioning but there are fans and heaters, if necessary. These are located in a great area which is close to Sheridan and Buffalo. They are also close to trails that take you through the Bighorn mountains. The resturant had a fantastic breakfast. I would highly recommend eating there.

My experience has been the best experience. I love the people that go there. Well mostly lol My favorite of course is the owner Vicky Owen. The Wagon Box is her baby. She is desperate to please everyone and puts her ALL into the Wagon Box. Thank you to all the staff who love the Wagon Box and also do their best to give the best food and service...short staffed always. I wish them the very best and appreciate all they do. ?????? The service was amazingly quick for being in such a rural setting. The prices on the menu were spot on. Definitely set for the working class.
