We were traveling through and stopped to have a late lunch. The restaurant was half full and no one at the counter. Hostess told us that they were not seating anyone. Heard from another person that they had not had their order taken and they had been sitting 30 minutes (as this group left).

I visited Uncle Louie's twice during my week in Sundance. My first visit wasn't great as my waitress couldn't answer any questions about the menu and I ended up regretting my order as I heard the awesome waitress for the table next to mine telling folks how they could order the exact thing I wanted to order.
I returned a few days later and had that better waitress and my experience was so much better.

My waitress Nancy was friendly and genuine with interesting stories to share. I had a breakfast plate she recommended that exceeded expectations. The coffee was smooth and tasty without having to doctor it up with cream or sugar. Quite simply the was a fantastic place to eat all the way around.
Friendly staff, great food! Uncle Louie is a great guy, I had a meal that was unsatisfactory and he took care of it, very professionally and apologetic, an all over great experience.
