We stopped for lunch on our way to South Dakota! What a little gem! We had a BLT on jalapeño cornbread and a fresh baked cinnamon roll for dessert. Great service too! We liked it so much we stopped by on the way home. The second time we had the Mediterranean veggie soup! Delicious! We took some soup to go too!

Classic quality food!! Had a denver skillet with crispy home fries! Local ads on the tables, clean bathrooms, pay at the counter on the way out
Stopped in for breakfast and was quickly greeted and seated by Victoria. Her service was friendly and fast! She ran the tables by herself and nobody waited! It's hard to find service like that anymore.
The food was just as impressive! Finally, a place that knows how to cook over-medium eggs! The pancakes were awesome, and they cooked the bacon crispy, just as I requested!
If you're a local or passing thru, make sure you stop here at Deacons for some good food!

It used to be a really good place. The salad bar is sad, and way overpriced. The cottage cheese tasted bad. The service was not good. We had to find another server to get us things because our server didn't come back.
Used to really enjoy this place, but sadly we won't be back.

Waitress was friendly. Table was dirty. I ordered ham, hashbrowns, 2 eggs over easy, dry wheat toast. The bread was delicious, but heavily buttered. The hashbrowns were very undercooked and cool. The eggs were overcooked, and the ham had a sweet taste to it. Deacons used to have one of the best salad bars ever and now it is mediocre. The menu is less than half the size it used to be. Not a great experience. Won't revisit here again.
