Premium prices for frozen food my son had a cheese burger $14.00. The burger was a frozen puck, you know it is bad when your 15 year old 6ft tall son won’t finish it. I had a pizza it had ok flavor I would have preferred a Dominos. We had high hopes but definitely won’t be returning customers.

An okay place to eat. Pricey bar food. Would look elsewhere next time.

I was here about a year and a half ago, pizza was decent- the beers this time were disappointing, all 4 I tried in my flight were watery- with no depth: pale ale, IPA, summer shandy, Octoberfest
The shandy was the best but maybe only because I think of shandys as light and refreshing
The vibe and service seems great especially for locals and regulars so I am glad they have a nice local gathering place with good food here in Torrington.

We came upon this gem while passing through the town. After spending the past 2 days driving, this is exactly what we needed! Initially we intended to order some food for takeout, but it was so welcoming and we were invited in (even though we were traveling with our dog). I had the best beer that I've ever had (I think it was called Doc Holliday). Our service and food was phenomenal! We ordered the curly fries (so fresh and delicious), the Mexican Pizza, and the Fry Bread (all which were out of this world)! The food was delivered by the cook and she even brought our pup a little platter! The portions were gigantic...I wish we had this place closer to home! Please do yourself a favor and stop by for great food, beer and service!

Super cute! The cook and bartender were very kind and the food was amazing and fresh! Best curly fries ever! And they are even pet friendly! 10/10!

Stopped in for lunch today and shortly after, a group of 40+ people showed up without reservations. The staff did a great job juggling all the tables and taking care of everyone, including us. Open Barrel did a fabulous job! Plus their homemade pizza and root beer (brewed on site) is top notch too!

Wonderful experience. Staff is very friendly. Everything we tried was excellent, especially the weekly specials. There are pinball games upstairs, though some of the machines are broken. I was initially unsure about bringing little kids but for a weekday early dinner it was totally fine. Will definitely be back.

The worst looking and worst tasting “pizza” ever. Good luck.

Excellent food and service. There are not a lot of small businesses like this around anymore. We visited this on our way to South Dakota and it was an excellent place to stop. Very thankful we found this place and would highly recommend it. You need to try the homemade root beer!!

Our hang out for pool, pizza and (root) beer with the boys. Great food, great drinks, amazing atmosphere and awesome service! Only place in town a 7 and 10 year old can play pool!

It’s a decent brewery, though they currently have a limited selection with only 8 beers on tap. I tried the Mile Wide IPA, which was smooth but not particularly standout—lacking the fruity and hoppy character I usually enjoy in an IPA. The Belgian wheat was more like Blue Moon, which you might like if you’re a fan of that style. Overall, it’s worth a visit, and you might find something you enjoy. I’m giving it 3 out of 5 stars mainly because of the limited options. If you’re an IPA enthusiast like me, you might find it a bit lacking, but it’s still a nice place to check out.
