Do not try to camp here!
This is what $90 dollars a night gets you: a very uneven, small campsite, water, and electric. NO toilets, NO showers, NO hospitality. The owner was very rude when we asked about restroom facilities stating that we should have checked the terms and conditions before signing up for our site. Site 1 has some scrubby trees, and a super sloped, all rock (not even gravel) site. Oh and that view of the river? You have to walk to the edge of a cliff to see it. We will not be back, and we may even leave without staying a single night. My advice: find someplace else.

We stayed here five nights - my husband and I in an RV site, my parents in the lodge.
Overall we had a lovely week and you can’t beat the location and aspect of this beautiful property. The views of the mountains and the valley are spectacular from every angle. The owners were also very welcoming and friendly.
We stayed in the RV site closest to the river which had everything we needed and had great views (although the river is actually on the off side of the camper). We also had the place to ourselves which was very relaxing and private. However, I would have been pretty annoyed if I had paid that much for any other of the other rv sites… they are very tight, no view, and WAY too close to the stinky dumpsters.
My parents enjoyed their accommodation in the lodge which was very comfortable and spacious.
The food at the restaurant on site was pretty awful, including the cocktails! But the location made up for it.
I stayed here one night in the Grant Suite while visiting Yellowstone. The staff were friendly and it was very clean. The bed was easily the most comfortable of all the places I stayed on my trip. Not too soft, not too firm, just right. The area is very calm and quiet at night with beautiful sunset views.
I had a good dinner in the restaurant, but I got too early of a start to my day to try out the coffee shop.
Other reviews mentioned the Grant Suite being off the front desk area and there being noise, but I heard nothing after about 8 PM. I went to bed a bit early and had no issues.
I spent the night before this in Jackson in a cabin that was more than twice as expensive, not very clean, and had a mattress that made me long for my college dorm bed. If you're thinking you need to stay in Jackson, don't! Save your money, back, and sanity and stay at the Wapiti Lodge instead!

We had a good experience. The beds were comfy, the owners were very helpful.
I ate at the restaurant. Top notch food and coffee.
A very nice small lodge, very b-n-b feeling (second b is not included though, but you can buy it). We stayed in the Hayden suite, loved the room, it was quite spacious, and the layout, although it looked a bit odd at first, was actually perfect! The bathroom is in its own corridor along with the kitchen, therefore you basically don't hear any bathroom sounds from the room!
The location is nice, it's quite a drive to Yellowstone's "main" areas, but it's an absolutely beautiful drive, with picturesque meadows, gorgeous canyons, waterfalls, snow patches you can literally walk to (in July!!!). One (maybe more than one) of the neighbouring lodges offers horse tours in a National Forest...
The views from the lodge are beautiful too, there is a patio and lawn chairs on the back, it's very nice to sit there and watch the river flowing below, and gorgeous mountains, and some wildlife...
The restaurant itself was not a big hit for us, we tried breakfast and it was very salty and spicy, even a kids meal, but everyone's taste is different, so your experience may be different too.

Local that stopped in on a Friday at 8:30 for a drink, only to be told it's last call, they're closing for the night.
Approximately 30 people in the lounge, but was explained that they're not drinking as fast or as much as the bartender required.
Rushed to finish our drink and leave.
Staff was nice and pleasant for the most part, but not likely to make this a regular place since the hours of service are variable.
It wasn't a bad experience, just a surprising one.

owners are very greedy. fires around the area making the air quality very poor and my family has a severe asmatic child. I have full medical documentation. they didn't care. said oh well.
We stopped here for dinner without an overnight stay.
They brought us a delicious place and an amazingly beautiful landscape around us. Mighty mountains, vegetation, chirping birds and the sound of the river.
The decor inside the restaurant is beautiful.
Large selection of dishes on the menu. Friendly service. Free WiFi.
There are plenty of parking spaces near the restaurant.
Dishes were served in disposable and plastic dishes. Be prepared for this.
We enjoyed our time here and dined in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature.
Thank you!

Not the greatest customer relations. If you are booking a room make sure your plans don’t change. We paid in full 30 days out from our reservation and then had a death in the family and our travel plans changed. I called 25 days out from our stay to see if there was anything they could do for us and was told we could not get any refund. So now we are paying full price for a room that we can’t even use. I even emailed 2 additional times asking if instead of a refund we could just change dates, and have not had any response back from them.

We stayed here at the end of May with my family if 9. Absolutely loved it. It's hard to find a place to stay together for that many people. The owners were fantastic and so helpful. They were able to help with anything we needed. The beds were so comfortable, and in the room we had the shower was separate from the toilet and sink. That worked so well with 9 of us. The drive to Yellowstone was beautiful. We stayed 5 nights and loved it! Definitely would stay there again!!

Ian was especially great and what made our whole experience! He shared information and tips on how to maneuver around the park and where to see certain wildlife. And the breakfast was tasty! I recommend you all stop by, you won’t regret it.
With support from Oklahoma!
Food and drinks: Dined in. Restaurant/bar experience was subpar. Drinks and food were overpriced and underwhelming. I didn't expect gourmet in this area, but the fish were actual nuggets that were equal to maybe 1.25 pieces of fish at best for $16... Also, my drink was not made properly, and the crab cake sandwich was more breading than anything. Sadly, we won't be back.

Overpriced low quality food! A lot has changed over the last 2 years. Definitely will NOT be back.

We stopped in for breakfast on our way out of Yellowstone and it was delicious. Fast friendly service and some great advice on stops to add to our onward travels. The breakfast potatoes are some of the best I’ve ever had.
