Had the pleasure of working here for a few years as a civilian about 20 years ago. Served many airmen that loved my north Carolina accent. Met many fantastic people from all over the world. Some of which I lost contact with, some of which Ive found on FB again. But those folks that still I hold very to my heart. Those were the good ol days. Life was different then. Maybe even better. But I'd like to say Thank you for the precious lifetime memories Chadwell!! Thank you for...
This review is for the years 1974 thru 1977, when I was stationed here. Food was always consistently good. Breakfast and midnight chow was 50 cents, lunch and dinner was $1.00 (all you can swaller for a dollar). My favorite for breakfast was the French toast. On Fridays they grilled steaks outside. What more could you ask for. Judging by the current day reviews it is still providing good food and service. Good job!
This dining facility is open to everyone on base to include retirees and family. This is a very honorable service for our military and wished other places would emulate this base. Very many different items of excellent food were available and all of the personnel were cordial and helpful. My wife and I ate like royalty for a nominal price. We were actually amazed how affordable and delicious the excellent food was. Kudos to the Chadwell Dining Facility and F. E. Warren AFB Command.
