"Ward, you were a little hard on the Beaver..". I have heard tale of small Midwest towns that you can comfortably leave your doors unlocked, the locals quickly know you by name, and it literally feels like you're in one of those T.V. land towns where riff-raff is all but non-existent. Whelp, Wheatland Wyoming is just that... ..and in this small town, located smack dab across the street from the majestic town hall and courthouse, is the Landmark Bar. If you're looking for a T.V. Land bar like "Cheers", this is the place. It's quaint, friendly, perfectly priced, and worth stopping in. Of course, it seems like it might have the potential to get absolutely hootin' hollerin', rootin' tootin', slap your grandma and give Pappy some moonshine on a Friday night around 9 p.m. type of vibe, but it never seems to get out of control. Personally, I think it's probably the hippest place in Wheatland, if you're looking for the cool kids... ..and it took me forever to understand "Wert der Ferk" on the classy characters they have graffiti's in the back.. ..but that's another story. Stop in.. ..you'll be glad you did.

Food is pretty good, service depends on who is there. Sometimes good service, other times not. Classic, small bar with gambling and a pool table.
It is was awesome my boyfriend and I stopped in after we got done working to check out the machine's. I was down to $3 bucks and walked out with $50.00.The bartender was nice, as well as Nate for fixing my machine after it froze up on me.Then we headed back home to Cheyenne.
