Windy Peaks Brewery & Steakhouse

Service and atmosphere was very good, however I was served a NY Strip that was 50% fat and gristle. The manager came to the table and said it's that way with every NY Strip (nonsense). She said the best she could do is take 10% off the steak ($3). She never apologize and just did everything she could do to blame me for attempting to eat the good half.

Every time I come to visit my mom in my hometown of Wheatland, I take her here for dinner. We always get the baby back ribs with the mustard sauce. Today it was to die for. The beer selection is fabulous. Lots of local Wyoming beers on tap. Today I had a Scottish Ale from Powell, Wyoming. Yummy! Our waitress Leslie was also awesome!

I had the prohibition brown and it was great. The food was amazing & the service was top notch. It is worth the stop. I hope to get snowed in in Wheatland next winter so I can just hang out here.

We went here twice within a couple months, both times our food came out cold, like it had been setting for quite some time. Neither time was the restaurant very busy at all. The first time my mom waited well over 20 minutes for her 3 shrimp to go with her shrimp alfredo, as a matter of fact some of us were done eating before she got them. The second time, there was 8 of us for my brothers birthday, gratuity was automatically given, to which wasn’t deserved, the customer service was awful, again our food came out cold, we watched our drinks sit at the bar for 25 minutes, my uncle was actually going to go get them himself at one point. The cheesecake was absolutely disgusting, it was like rubber, just gross, my meat on my sandwich was freezer burned or so it seemed. It’s a steak house but don’t offer like steak bites or something for kids. Do you not think kids like steak? Here nor there myself nor any of my family will be returning to this establishment.

Hate going to a place where there were six things on the menu that I strongly considered....but the burger I decided on was so good I'll want to just do it again instead of trying something else! But that's the way it goes!
Kessey was our superb waitron, assisted by several other friendly staff...service and smiles were perfect!

What a great discovery we made during a quick road trip. Absolutely one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Wyoming. Shame the same type of fare and service cannot be replicated in the larger cities/towns in Wyoming. We would go well out of our way to eat here again. Outstanding service. Delicious food. Can’t wait for our next trip. Thank You.

My husband and I TRIED to go here! I am in a wheelchair. We showed up the front door has a step up to the door, the only door we could have gone through was the back door (delivery, trash door) through the kitchen, how unhygienic! I was looking forward to a local place and was solely mistaken. SO DISAPPOINTED!!

Stopped in on our way back to texas from buying cattle up near Casper. Had been a long long day. Had amazing service. Amazing food and a great brownie alamode for desert. Great place !!!
