We were looking for a quick and easy dessert and heard there was an ice cream parlour on front street. We were a little disappointed to get there and find out it was chapman's ice cream. Which it was a little over priced for chapman's. I ended up getting a Yukon Blizzards and my spouse got a scoop of ice cream. The soft serve with Reese was really good but no where close to DQ. They did not take credit or debit. but at least had cash machine in the store.

Super popular ice cream shop - but the only one in town.The black cherry ice cream was so good! Scoops are huge and very generous.Perfect place to go on a hot Dawson day!It’s opposite the river so you can find a nice shady spot there to enjoy the view and the ice cream.

Ice cream good but I’m sure the prices listed were in Canadian. The girl there did not give us the US value. Very dishonest and would never get ice cream. If using US money DON’T go!!

So disappointed by the only ice cream shop in town. The schedule indicated opening time until 10 pm. We arrived a 9:07 to hear that it was closed and that the schedule on the door wasn’t updated. They refused service to us… even though they were still in the shop and the door was opened.
Tried the mango frozen yogurt. It was creamy, delicious, and perfect sweetness.

Myself, my wife and 2.5yr old went for ice cream on the holiday Monday not knowing they were closed, we happened to get lucky and the owner was there. She didn’t hesitate at all to get my toddler a scoop of sherbet (he is allergic to lactose). Great customer service and thanks for making his day better.

My Family and I stopped here for dessert after our dinner. The two girls that served us were very polite. We definitely enjoyed our ice creams, they are very generous size portions that I couldn’t even finish mine. Great place to stop !!
