Visited Red Mammoth for lunch during a trip to Dawson City in August. We had the soup of the day (pea & ham) and a turkey sandwich, along with a couple of coffees. The weather was beautiful so we ate out on the deck. The food was delicious and the staff were really friendly. Really nice local spot serving up good value eats!
Ordered breakfast from here on a couple of occasions during our stay in Dawson. Not only was the food and drinks we ordered quite good, but the owner was very friendly. When he saw that I was interested in the wooly mammoth fossil on the wall that is thought to be 20,000 years old, he came to our table and told me the story behind the discovery.
Excellent coffee and treats especially when coming back from site after a long stint. The service is also lovely and is always done with a smile! Highly recommend particularly if you try one of the sammies, too!
