Yukon Motel & Restaurant

We didn't stay in the hotel, or I'd help you out with details, but the restaurant was awesome. We were passing through going to Alaska, and it was an emergency fuel stop for us, but it was definitely a stop we had to make on the way back. We got food both times we were there, and the waitresses were fantastic both times. They had no problems cutting up with us and dealing with our goofiness. One waitress even fed into it a bit and cut up with us even more. It was awesome....

You wouldn't expect a motel on the Alaska Highway to be able to serve both local and international food but this place does both very well. I had the Elk sausage and pierogies and my wife had a chicken curry and rice. Both were prepared quickly and deliciously with huge serving sides. The l cook prepares his own home cooked dishes that are super tasty. Onion rings were top notch. I look forward to returning and trying the other specials.

Stayed here this june and this hotel was an amazing stop along the Alaska Highway as the rooms where clean and cozy, got a good view of the bay with lots of RV hookup spots too. The restaurant had amazing food that we made sure to stop here again on the way home for the food again. if you are doing the Alaska highway i recomend making this a top spot to stop at. I will say since its on the bay there are a ton of mosquito's so watch out for them.
