Lauries Bistro & Coffeehouse, located behind the Sign Post Forest, offers excellent, fresh food made to order. The bacon caesar, clubhouse, chili, and burger are all highly recommended. With friendly staff, fast service, and reasonable prices, it's a great stop for anyone in Watson Lake, YT. The fries are fantastic and homemade.
The bistro is not advertised outside but is located in the Recreation Center, right next to the Schilderwald. It offers everything from breakfast to dinner. Prices for the burgers are moderate, though the fries may be a bit too dark for some. Overall, the food is tasty and filling, with the smoothies being particularly good. The traveler's hungry eye cannot overlook this jewel, where humble meals are made to sing.
