Rollin through watson lake otw to the great state of alaska with my homeboys, stopped to check out whats up with the signs and what not. Got hungry lookin at all the license plates so we swung into lauries bistro lookin for some grub, didnt expect too much but even if i did laurie woulda blew it out the water. Greatest hot chocolate me and my boy weston ever had in our lives, and best damn burger in the whole yukon

Don't think twice, this is the best place to eat in Watson Lake. Incredible care and thought goes into each item and the quality is excellent.

When I walked in, I overheard a woman saying “This is so good!” as she was drinking her smoothie.

She was right. The Rueben was really, really good, and so was my smoothie.

Beans burger was delicious, fries homemade, excellent choice of baked goods. Stopped on our way to Whitehorse, right behind the post sign forest. Will come again on nxt trip.

Stopped here on the way to Little Salmon Lake from Edmonton. Great food and service! Good quality ingredients and friendly staff. Will stop by for sure on the way back :)

Stopped on our way to Whitehorse looking for a quick bite to eat. Took a second to realize that it was inside the rec centre but food was amazing. Portions were huge, fries were fresh, and service was great! Will be stopping here on our way back home.

Laurie's is in the rec centre. Best sandwiches, coffees,, teas, etc., in Watson Lake. Awesome little business. Friendly, helpful staff!

We discovered this sweet spot while traveling through Watson Lake and stopped in for dinner. (It's located in the blue rec center building.) We had a burger (fresh, crisp lettuce and tomato) and rueben sandwich. Both were delicious and each came with yummy handcut fries. Topped dinner off with a caramel brownie which we shared given the generous size. We liked everything so much we returned for coffee and a blueberry pastry the following morning. They were great, too. Laurie's was a delightful surprise. So good.
