We enjoyed our 12 oz ribeye steak so much that we stopped in on our return trip and had it again!!! The service was excellent. But that steak was one of the best I have ever had.

Great food, although for the price, you would think the plates would all come out at once. Our fourth person waited 5 min before getting her plate meanwhile the other three all have theirs, ready to eat infront of them...

Heard great things about Belly of the Bison, so we chose it for our anniversary dinner! The Beef Carpaccio was a real standout – truly superb. The main courses didn't quite hit the same high note for us, as the braised bison was a bit dry. However, we still had a good overall experience.

Tier-1 service with an impeccable and fantastic wine selection. They leverage meat availability with local preferences and traditional cooking methods. The serving staff provide honest suggestions and genuine recommendations as well as being polite, appealing and attentive. Hands down, the best place to go within the whole city. It's grass-roots ingredients match their customer service, only out matched by flavour profile. Bonus points if you get Larissa as your server; phenomenal service in every capacity.

I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant, it’s certainly more fancy and pricier than other restaurants in Whitehorse, but staff is super attentive, so if you wanna have a better dining experience, you should visit here. Steak was amazing, so tasty. Unfortunately the creamy shrimp soup tasted too much like fish, and it was unpleasant. Chocolate torte was great as well. Drinks were very interesting. I would definitely go back and try other dishes.
The food is fantastic, the cocktails are amazing, and the service is great. The bison ribs and the mushroom ravioli were amazing, and the bison Bolognese was the most delicious Bolognese I have ever had. They have great versions of traditional cocktails, it was great having a twist on our favourites.

I've been meaning to come by Belly of the Bison a few times and it did not disappoint.
We decided to start with the Scallops and Beet Salad as appetizers. The Scallops were cooked well and the garnish had a good texture contrast to the Scallops and helped brighten up the dish. The Beet Salad (Half Portion) was also pretty reasonably priced and tasted very fresh.
What was impressive were the mains, the filet and the pasta. They provided a very generous amount of pasta and ratio of pasta to sauce was excellent. The filet came with fries and asparagus, was cooked very tenderly and had a good sear.
The only point of improvement was there were some moments where it took a bit for the staff to clear the dishes and get the bill, the overall vibe and value of the food was worth it. For a special occasion, I would recommend going out to celebrate at Belly of the Bison.
Still pissed off about the strip loin you served instead of a ribeye. Worst steak I've have in a restaurant. Used to be our favorite restaurant. No longer.

We had the most wonderful time at your restaurant in early December. We ate there 2 nights and had excellent service and incredible food both nights. Our table had severe allergies and your ability to accommodate our allergies and keep us safe was fantastic. Our server was amazing despite having many, tables. We didnt catch her name but were able to thank her again the next day on Air North! Thank you!
