After being told how good this place was, we were a little disappointed. Ok, let's be specific as we don't want to deter anyone from coming here. It's good, just not great.
I feel there should have been bread and oil or something on the table as an 'amuse bouche' but there wasn't. Food costs being what they are, I understand.
Our Greek salads were awesome! Packed full of ripe tomatoes, a huge chunk of feta, fresh romaine, loaded with olives and seasoned well. Very nice!
My Moussaka was delicious but I could tell it sat under the heat lamp a little too long as the bechamel sauce had dried to the plate. Nothing came with it so it sat all by itself on the plate and I ate the whole thing.
My companion's Noodles with Asparagus and Chicken was plentiful with tender asparagus but the Alfredo sauce broke and was watery. The noodles were a little hard to his liking but that's a personal preference as he likes them almost mushy. So much pasta that we had to take some home with us.
We spent a comfortable 90 minutes enjoying the atmosphere with a couple of drinks before and after and came away sated for a reasonable Whitehorse price.

Food was good and drinks were outstanding. Service was slow but understandable because they were busy. Server was friendly nonetheless.

Really enjoyed a pleasant dinner there. And their Old Fashioned rocks!

Absolutely disgusting!

I have been to this restaurant many times as a local and have always spoken well of it despite other locals complaining about the service; I take back any kind words I had about this place as tonight's experience was terrible.

Our party of 15 had a reservation for 7 pm (1 week in advance) and then we were informed 2 hours prior to it that they do not have table's available for us and we can try for 8 pm. When we all showed up on time for 8 pm they had no tables ready for us and after 10 minutes of waiting, they made an effort to relocate other clients to make room for our tables that they apparently do not reserve but promise are reserved.

The food tasted okay, it was very salty but cooked well and the service was friendly and professional for the most part. Unfortunately my appetizer arrived way later than the entire table and I began eating it shortly before everyone else received their main courses, despite us having ordered appetizers at the same time. My main course was delayed to the point that I was finishing it just before deserts came out to some people; but I was never asked if I wanted any desert.

After all the issues, you would think that a fine dining restaurant would apologize at least once or make some effort to make their clients feel better but instead they gave us the bill with 18% gratuity pre-applied because we were a larger party. When the waiter came to me for payment I kindly mentioned that I do not agree with the tip amount and wish to adjust it. As if bi-polar, the waiter ignored me and left me with the payment terminal to pay the full amount and did not want to listen to my concerns. He later came back and I explained again that I wish to adjust the tip % and he said he cannot adjust it because it is company policy and he is just an employee.

A few seconds after the manager approached me in a combative manner. To explain this unbelievable experience in short, she did not want to let me speak (but I got my words in at some point), she tried to invalidate my concerns by saying the others may have had a good experience, shrugged off my concerns by blaming the restaurant was busy and with frustration and unprofessionalism, had no intention of hearing complaints and only wanted to argue to get their full payment. If she had taken one second to actually listen to me, she would have known I intended to pay 10% tip instead of 18% but instead she stormed off to later come back with the exact same bill asking me to pay! When I told her this is the same amount still she yelled at an employee and when she came back she threw the god damned payment terminal on my hand and stormed off again (this time she had removed the tip all together)!

To top it all off, after paying, I stopped for 5 seconds to greet an acquaintance on my way out to wish them merry Christmas and the waiter came up to me immediately, put his hand on my shoulder to direct me out and said I need to leave, they are closed.

If you think it takes two to tango, let me assure you, despite the anger building in me, I remained calm and polite. This dance was all on their own.

Completely unexpected experience in a negative way.

This place used to be good and now it has lost 15+ customers over ten dollars.

People are not cattle coming to feed and do what the restaurant wants. We are the clients which are the reason a business like yours exists. Absolutely no customer service skills or management skills.

If you are looking for a nice dinner, don't gamble it away by potentially receiving an experience like ours or many others, try somewhere else, there are plenty of better restaurants in town.

Don't waste your time here. Two years in a row we tried to organize a birthday party here by reserving for a group and two times they failed to actually reserve a table and forced us to reschedule without caring about their mistakes. A fine dining restaurant is expected to have higher standards and when people are left waiting and forgotten about, cutlery and napkins are served only to some, servers are rude to guests and the manager cannot take any constructive criticism, you know this place does not care about you at all. Any decent restaurant would have comped something on the bill and apologized but instead they argued, tried to charge us full price plus a tip we did not agree with, treated a friend horribly and kicked him out because they do not want to deal with someone that wasn't 100% satisfied...SHAME ON THIS RESTAURANT!

I will never be back to this place again. We reserved as a larger group but they lie about reserving their tables and don't care of we were rescheduled by them and then made to wait a second time for our reservation. They really ruined the vibe when they charged 18% tip instead of making any apology to us about all their mistakes during the night and were especially rude to one of our friends that did nothing to spark their unprofessional response. If this restaurant has new management, it is the wrong one for a business in customer service and I strongly advise to try one of the many other excellent dining choices in Whitehorse.

As a tour guide, I brought a group of thirteen to Giorgio's Cuccina, and they made it such a great experience. The staff was friendly and professional, handling our big group like it was no trouble at all. The owners were incredibly kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They created such a welcoming atmosphere, and the cozy yet upscale vibe really made it special.

The service was excellent, smooth, attentive, and thoughtful. My group couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved it. Our clients were thrilled, and it added something memorable to their trip.

Any tour operator in the Yukon would be lucky to work with them. They know how to handle groups with care and professionalism, and their hospitality is top-notch. I highly recommend this experience to anyone, especially those in the tourism industry. It’s such a gem in Whitehorse.

I generally have enjoyed this place. I went there recently with my kids for a belated father's day dinner and although it was not busy, the very polite server rarely noticed us (we were one of only two tables in her upper area), leaving our glasses empty for much of the night. The costly lobster tail I ordered was like eating tasteless rubber, but I hid my discontent from my kids wanting them to enjoy taking me to dinner. I later emailed about the service and poor quality food, but received no reply. I eventually called and was told by a shift manager that she recalled the owner bringing my email to their attention and it was resolved that, since I did not complain when the server asked "how was everything" when bringing the bill (in front of my kids???), it must not have been very serious, and so apparently no follow up was necessary. So I explained to the shift manager why I did not complain (I was a guest of my kids), and asked for the respect of a call back from a manager. I was assured that would happen, and so I also made a reservation for the visiting Cunsul-General of Taiwan a few days later (assuming I would receive a call). To date, there's been no call and no offer to compensate for a bad yet costly meal. It appears to be a case of ignorance or incompetent customer service (or both). I'll be avoiding this place for the time being.

Excellent spot for dinner although it could do with a fresh up in the decor. Salmon was perfectly cooked and the sides were all delicious. Wine list leaves a little to be desired, especially by the glass, but overall a great spot for dinner in Whitehorse.
