As someone who has previously worked at McDonald’s for two years, I was extremely disappointed and concerned by what I received.
There are strict timer protocols for all cooked items—something every McDonald’s staff member should know. Unfortunately, the patty in my order had clearly been sitting far beyond the allowable time—based on texture, temperature, and appearance, I’d estimate it was past the timer limit by at least two or three cycles.
This isn’t just poor service—it’s a serious food safety issue. If something were to happen to a customer, this could result in major consequences, including loss of license.
McDonald’s is supposed to follow strict quality and safety standards. I sincerely hope management investigates and takes steps to fix this before someone gets seriously affected.
Good service
I just brought a McChicken home and it didn’t have the chicken patty. Just buns lettuce and mayo! Amazing…
Food might be fine, but forgetting the fork with poutine? That’s just lazy. Had to throw it away—wasted my money.
Really impressed with this McDonald’s! The place was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable vibe. The staff were super friendly and got my order right without any hassle. It’s definitely one of the nicer branches I’ve visited—great service overall!
Best fast food coffee
Updating my rating from 2 stars to 1. They now have a store policy where you can only get 1 cup of water free. Seems small, but they follow up with you can buy a bottle of water from us. Meanwhile panhandling at their entrances, parking lot and drive through remains. They're priorities are in the wrong place.
Best service with the smile fast and accurate order food are awesome and friendly people
Like Tuesday evening waited over 10 min for 2 drinks and a receipt (needed for work purposes)
No one had their crap together.
Very very slow and unfriendly. Very poor service. All run by east Indians. If you want to live in Canada learn our culture and language. This is my country
The Big Arch is very good idk if it's just in Canada, but after a couple of those I'll never go back to double quarter pounder again lol

If there is 0 star then I would prefer that. I am having worst McDonalds’ experience everytime I go there. This only happens only with the day staff, not in the night. I always get poutine only with 1 pump of gravy and have to eat all the fries dry. Moreover, if I need to make my breakfast or lunch meal customised they always said that they can’t do it and make me pay extra even for the sauce. I been to the McDonalds’ almost in every province but this one is the worst ever.
One day, they make me wait for 20-25 minute just for 1 chicken Mcmuffin and when I got the order it was wrong. Plus, it was the manager who came to give me the order and when I asked her name to make a complaint, she completely ignored and left without saying anything.
Reasonable cleanliness and good service
It started as an accidental charge twice for a Drive Thru for $34.20. RBC sent me a notice saying they think I was double charged and I was. I called them 3 times and spent hours on phone. The result is still no credit after 4 months. The manager is unable to reverses a charge. I emailed them and they told me to call the store again? This is incredible!! Very poor service. The manager then said he would send me an agreed to $40.00 Gift Certificate which was NEVER sent. They know and agree they owe it to me but no one seems to know what to do. I will keep sending them emails and letters as this should not be allowed!
UPDATE: Well the owner finally called me personally about 7 months later. He was contacted by another McDonalds restaurant in Saskatchewan because I sent a small claims court filing which they somehow received. He was very apologetic and did send me the promised gift certificates which I gifted to a family of 3 toddlers. Lesson, the owner should empower his employees to act on complaints. Lesson two, the owner, is clearly micromanaging but did not react to my many calls and discussions with his staff.
“Wow, McDonald’s, I didn’t know you were offering extra toppings for free! Found a lovely strand of hair in my burger—guess it’s a ‘chef’s special’? If I wanted a side of disgust, I would’ve asked for it. Do better!”
Place is not clean. Fries are not standard McDonald fries. Expensive
