Very Amazing jerk chicken and oxtail. Love how tender the meats are, also love how they add roasted plantains. love how they add this salad mix with every meal (even if u get urs with rice), very nice mix of vege and fruits, nice mix of flavors.

I'm a softie for a place that does traditional everything right.Foods delicious. Roti Jerk Chicken and Fried Plantains. Both fantastic. Ordered a Ting and Rum and you actually get Ting which is cool. The place is small and not fancy which does more for the atmosphere than a bigger more modern place would.Of the restaurants in Whitehorse, this is in the top tier. Also,my Jamaican buddy went there with us one time and just straight up yelled the order into the kitchen which was hilarious and somehow worked. I don't reccomend doing that because the service was great. I think he just felt a little too at home.

They were out of the jerk chicken so got the jerk pork instead. Very good. Only reason it's not a 5 star is that it is pricey and the portions are a bit small

Very tasty, and the custom spicy sauce we got was on point.Had the j*** chicken roti, and it was quite tasty. The j*** chicken salad might be a good option too.I'd go back to try the ox tail and goat for sure, I'd bet it would be very tasty and made authentic!

J*** Chicken plate was the best meal I’d had in a long time. While no expert on Jamaican food, I have been to the island. Pickapeppa is superb. I wish I could hang around in this cool town to try some more dishes!

I was away from Toronto for a while and the only thing that made me feel close to home was the food served at Pickapeppa. Whether it was the curry chicken, j*** pork, plantain or oxtail.. It was always made to perfection!! Real soul food, kept me sane during my visit to Whitehorse. I highly recommend dining here for a home-cooked style 10/10 meal

Started with the mango smoothie which was very refreshing especially in this summer season! For the main entree we ordered the spicy fish which hit the spot! The salad and fish was fresh and the rice is full of flavor and heavenly!!The beef curry was also good and very tender. We had the honor to meet the Master Chef Andrea and she makes everything with so much affection which shines through the wonderful flavors she is bringing to everyone. They also have a fun table that showcases the visitors from all over the world- so when you stop by make sure to bring currency from your hometown to continue this fun tradition!A must try when visiting Whitehorse!

Popped in for a quick dinner after work and was really surprised with how great the food was. Wasn't sure what to expect because I haven't had a lot of Jamaican food but the j*** chicken roti was fantastic and the rum balls I had for dessert were great too! Definitely gonna go back and try more of the menu.

I had the fried plantain and oxtail. Both were delicious. Great Caribbean food and flavours!

Food was good. Half my ribs were a bit dry, but the other half was very good, and lots of flavour. Homemade ginger beer was delicious.

Best food in town; sort of a hidden gem, but the local fad-mob is coming around!Love the soups, patties, and rotis!Try a spicy fish and home-made ginger beer!

Seems like a family run business.Excellent jerk pork as other reviews have stated. Relatively small and dark interior; Jamaican playlist in the background!Expect Whitehorse pricing (main plates $20+)
