It brought back beautiful memories.
Lots of voices in the menu. I opted for the brisket sandwich with broccoli cauliflower bacon salad…. Mmmmm. Everything was delicious! And a beer to wash it down.
Outrageously good. You have to go.
Second time coming here just to try all the combinations of sides and mains they have to offer. The sides were really good and not something of an afterthoughts. I recommend the Mac and Cheese specifically as there was a generous amount of cheese inside. The brussel sprouts had a good char to them for texture and nice flavour.
We also ordered the enchiladas and they were really great with an enormous portion, it can be a full main by itself. This was the same as the first time I came and ordered the trash can tater tots. The mains were tender and tasted great. Be mindful you don't overorder as the portions and type of food is very filling. Would recommend checking this place out for some comfort food.
Very good BBQ. Some of the meat was on the dry side and some was over seasoned but it was good.
Wow…what a little gem that Whitehorse has with the Smoke&Sow! Had a large group and all left happy and full!
Found/chose this place by accident, and I'm so glad. Food is AH-mazing. Though a little expensive. But worth it. Smoked flavor is perfect. Great sides. Gluten Free Bread! They have cocktails, beer wine, and soda.
The food overall was good, especially the Mac and cheese. The BBQ meats were a little overcooked on the outside but tasted fine. The fries were not good, super fried to the point they were very dry. It was also too spicy for me but I guess the flavor is how they do it. Dipping sauces were good.
We placed an online order for 4:15 (opening at 4).
As a result, the meat was barely warm, not fresh, and poorly reheated in the microwave. It seemed to us that it was cooked yesterday and sold today.
This is the only restaurant I eat at in Whitehorse. I always get the brisket. I have a very strict no carb diet so this is the only place that I can get a good priced high quality meat based meal. My daughter has had many of the other menu items and she loves them all.

Great place to get brisket
Great bunch of folks, amazing food, awesome value, notable community supporters, they treat their staff well and it shows!
Whoever cooked the brisket should be fired. It was like chewing on jerky. Worst brisket I've ever had. The mac and cheese was flavorless. The pulled pork was surprisingly good. Need a better selection of bbq sauce. Please get a smokey mustard 😩
If you are traveling in the Yukon Territory stop by... The food is good just know brisket is just fancy hamburger patties not shredded beef like you may expect if you're from somewhere like Texas.
This used to be my favourite restaurant in the whole Yukon. We would go for every special occasion in our lives. Unfortunately quality has been bad in the last several months, specifically the cook on the meat. We desperately wanted the old smoke & sow back, so we emailed the owner as a heads up. They invited us in for a free meal, but that meal was also not great. Then we went back again a few months later hoping things were back to normal, and it was even worse. Sides are great but the meat is just so dry, chewy, and overcooked. Pulled pork was like eating a wad of shredded cardboard. Attached picture is the dry, lifeless brisket that continues to haunt me. Please bring back the old Smoke and Sow!
