I'm sad to say that the Claim is closed for good. The end of an era: I miss the old Whitehorse.

The teas were delicious and the ambience comfortable and welcoming. The service was friendly and cheerful. The sandwiches were only okay because they were made with relatively poor quality store bought bread.

More on the expensive side, but I'm giving 5 stars based on the quality and freshness of the food. Excellent sandwiches, chocolate cake, scones, and other items.

I accidentally poured hot coffee on my right hand and scalded myself. I went back into Chocolate Claim stated I had just scalded myself with their hot coffee.

Horrible customer relations. One employee spoke so rude to us I thought I was in a hidden games show and it was a big joke. Was our go to place for cakes, but not anymore.Still will support local, just not The Claim.YMMV

Great spot; try one of their delicious hot cinnamon buns! Really nice in the mornings when it's busy with regulars coming and going. Really expensive though.

A little on the pricey side. Confections are excellent, owner/operator friendly and helpful.

Funky Japanese coffee bake shop! Coffee was on point and service was excellent! ☕ It was late in the holiday, and would have loved to try some of there cakes, but had to settle for a brownie which was delicious! Very nice cafe!
