Didn't realize Earls was gone but went in anyway. Ordered starter kale caesar and elk bolognese.Salad was over dressed and soggy on bottom. I also suggest using bigger bowls as when you stab a piece of kale half the bowl wants to fall out.The bolognese was rather oily. Giving someone a piece of garlic bread would be nice too.The food wasn't horrible, but for the price point, I would expect better.

What happened??? I went there with a friend this summer and it was so awesome! The fish and chips was amazing….. but I went back for my birthday dinner a few nights ago and the quality seems to have taken a very sharp nosedive. All my fries were so bad that they were basically mush and oil would drip down my arm when I picked them up. Yuck!The tartar sauce used to be my favourite thing and now it’s just salty and gross. You ruined fish and chips for me. And with two drinks my bill came out as over $100 like it was a fine dining experience.Not in my world. You got me for the bill this time but I won’t be returning.

Honestly, this place isn’t that great. I only gave it 3 stars because the bathroom was really clean. The food wasn’t that good at all. The apple pie wasn’t even an apple pie.

I had the fish and chips for lunch. The fish was Ling Cod, one of my favourites. The batter was suitably thin, the fries were wonderfully fresh. I also had a Haskap Mojito....simply delicious. I will definitely return.

Great night out. Polite and helpful staff… great food.My only complaint would be that the Elk “smash burger” was just a regular burger. Smash burger has a specific expecof a flat, crispy edged burger with onions grilled and carmalized into it. This was just a burger. It was good but not what I was expecting.Other than this great food and atmosphere!

Earls no more. It becomes a local establishment. The menu is similar the vibe is similar and the food is very similar too.They did add some new stuff but we ordered the food we used to enjoy and felt the portion shrunk. We will try new things on the menu when we visit
Food was mediocre at best. The small piece of salmon was overcooked and dry, no seasoning and on top of basic pilaf rice. The yam fries were overcooked as well. Service was nice.Defenitly not worth the price.

The vegan power bowl tastes pretty good. I liked the tahini date dressing that it came with. On the menu it said the dressing came on the side but it was served on the salad. That was fine by and it tasted great.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan options include the vegan power bowl and the falafel sandwich (if you ask for no tzatziki)
