I really want to like The Ridge. It is within walking distance from my house. The food is good. There are one or two great servers, but generally the service has been getting worse with every visit. The last time was the worst. The server was disinterested at best, but really it was surley, disrespectful and dismissive to paying (and very regular!) customers. Until customers are treated as valued patrons (until the owners care how their customers are treated) I'll have to find somewhere else to spend my beer money.P.S. If you plan on visiting later in the evening be aware the pub has a habit of not keeping to its posted hours and simply closing when it's not busy. How are you supposed to plan around that?

This should be a decent sports bar, but the attitude of some staff is brutal! Often, we who drink there regularly (and tip well) are treated disrespectfully, and so we have decided to boycott this establishment until staff attitudes improve.

Ended up visiting this location because the reviews said the food was really good. The pup itself wasn't in town which actually worked out really well. Was a decent sized crowd but wasn't overly busy while I was there. The food, beer and atmosphere were so good that I ended up going two nights in a row. I only had the wings both nights and they definitely hit the spot. But I will say the menu had other items and definitely seem like a good size kitchen in the back. Also I tried a few of the local beers on top and was not disappointed. If you're looking for something off the beaten path and not looking for something too busy in the downtown area I definitely would recommend.

Pleasant surprise! Aside from kitchen staff, there were two people working the bar, tables (inside&outside), and off sale. We sat at the bar and it might've been a touch slow, but not terrible. She was friendly with smiles and refresh of our waters. We had the cheddar bacon burger and cheesesteak, both were great! Love the 1/2salad 1/2fries option for a side. Off sale is steep though, just something to keep in mind. Overall, we left very satisfied!

This was a great choice for a late lunch after a very busy day. It was a quiet time - we got there about 2, which was perfect because I needed quiet. The menu has lots of variety, and the quality of both my Cheesy Beef Dip and my wife's massive CMB Burger was very good, as was the service. This was our first time at The Ridge but it won't be our last.
