I’ve eaten here twice, ordering a few of the appetizers and a couple of the bowls. First time was just okay, nothing special. Second time was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had.
Service is terrible. The server dropped things on the floor, spilt some of the meal on the table, stuck his thumbs down into the bowl while gripping it to place on the table and then wiped the wet thumbs on his pants afterwards. Kitchen appeared dirty and disorderly, nearly a certain health risk.
Ended up asking for the food to go and threw it in the garbage on the way to the car and ate elsewhere.
The cozy ambience is the only thing saving the place, and that isn’t enough for me. Will not return.

My son and I absolutely love woodstreet Ramen. We order almost every week. For healthy food served at a great price, who could ask for more.

Had the Tonkatsu Ramen for dine in after flying in from the east coast. I went in prior to their dinner rush (3:30 or 4pm).
Ramen was on point, the broth was rich and flavourful and their toppings were well made. The bowl looked and tasted fantastic.
The dining room is small and cute, but the atmosphere and vibe was off, even for a slow Monday afternoon. A small booth was still covered in dry goods boxes with no one working on moving it to a storage area and they didn't even play music, making it eerily quiet.
Service was fine, and staff were definitely friendly enough. Again, it's a slow Monday afternoon, but something like ramen is so much better just eating it as soon as it's made, a little more care taken in the dining areas would make this an easy 5 star, definitely still a recommended spot for a quick bite though, I'll be back to check out some other menu options.

My wife and I eat ramen all the time and have tried it many places. We were in town for just one night and wanted to get away from the hotel's dining room and try something good and local so we headed here to give it a try. Our experience wasn't great.
The room is nice enough...intimate, and appropriately lit. Our server wasn't particularly friendly or nice...we felt a little bit like he would rather just give people food for takeout orders.
The food itself did not live up to our hopes for a good and flavorful meal at a Ramen shop. I had the Dan Dan noodles (one of 2 vegetarian options on the menu.) The dish was prepared without any kind of sauce or dressing and had very little flavor. They did bring a side of chili oil which I tossed in myself that helped some...but there really wasn't a lot going on here in terms of enjoyment in my mouth.
My wife got the miso ramen. I tried it too...the broth tasted like it came out of a canned vegetable soup...very strange flavor for Ramen...not really a discernable "miso" flavor and overall the least tasty ramen we've ever had.
There was also a Sweet Chili Tofu rice bowl available for vegetarians and a couple of sides (more noodles, edamame.)
The odds of us getting back to Whitehorse any time soon are slim, but if we did, we definitely wouldn't be rushing back here.

My new favorite place to eat. Fabulous Asian soups made with bone broth and all great ingredients. Udons. Ramens. Thai. Korean. Can't wait to go again! Place is now called the Night Market. Wonderful!!!!
Vegetarian options: Right on the menu. Awesome
Dietary restrictions: He puts them on the menu. Easy to see and will cater a dish to your liking.

Funky little place. Food is always good. Salary man ramen is my go to. Sloppy Joe bao is great.

I ordered the Shoyu as I’ve been craving a bit of salt, spice and broth but holy smokes this is over the top salty and mildly spiced. I wasn’t even able to finish it due tot the saltiness 😫 their number is out of service so I can’t call to let them know. I’d love to try again but I’m very hesitant now.

Pretty competent bowl of Shoyu ramen in a location you really wouldn’t expect it!Strong points: noodles are pretty good, bowl is filling! Service is fast, friendly, attentive.Points of improvement:1)Dashi would be better from scratch with kombu, for applications like ramen where broth really matters the packaged stuff is pretty evident. However not sure if this is realistic in the Yukon… Still, this REALLY took me out of the eating experience2) Pork belly is not reaaaally seasoned like chashu would be. Couldn’t pick up any notes of ginger, etc. Still very good pork though! Would be better if cut thinner in my opinion as the current thickness overpowers the rest of the ramen3) Some wood ear mushrooms or bamboo shoots would’ve been nice, but again, not sure how realistic this is..Notes: They ran out of marinade for the eggs the night I went, but I’m told they usually do marinate it, fair enough, I don’t imagine mirin is too easy to come by in the Yukon.

A very good restaurant in town. The staff is great and friendly. It's inexpensive and incredibly good. In fact I believe that opinions are unanimous on this last point.

Food was absolutely amazing, service was very poor. I had to go up to order, I had to go up to get my bill because the server didn't check on me once. They were too busy chatting. I will come back for the food though, otherwise this would be a 5 without question.
