We stumbled across Woodcutters which was packed with both locals and tourists. Absolutely 10/10 in terms of service, food, and speed. The drinks are spectacular as they're brewed in house. I was skeptical in ordering the butter chicken as I grew up with an East Indian community, but I was splendidly surprised by how delicious the butter chicken that Woodcutters made. Highly recommend a stop here! Stepped inside from -40 degrees into this warm, cosy place which was beautifully lit by candlelight to a smiling lady who was able to squeeze us in even though we didn’t have a booking. Great crafty beers and even a vegan banh mi on the menu which absolutely blew my mind because I really didn’t think I’d be finding vegan food in Whitehorse…! 👌🏻
We stopped in to grab a bite after a long day and were happy we did. Our cocktails were well crafted and the beer is fresh, tasty and local! Our meals were pretty good but not exceptional like other places we tried in Whitehorse. One star off for the servers leaving us hanging a bit at the end of our experience. Other than that, we'd be happy to come back.
