“I've been to Milton Street pub about 10 times and it has always shown itself to be a fantastic place. It has a boat load of character, the food is some of the best in Nanaimo and all the staff are lovely. If you ever go and there is a hotdog/sausage special, get it! Get 2 as a matter of fact. Fatten yourself up on the deliciousness. If it's not on special anything else off the menu is still amazing. Reuben! Caprese! Salad! All amazing. I tip my hat to you ladies and gentlemen! Thanks for all the great eats and hospitality!“

“I’ve only been to Queens for the Sunday blues jam. It’s totally fun and very well managed by Jackie. Our waitress Kate was amazing, great server and personality to match.The jam itself is a blast. Great musicians every time. The minute the music starts the dance floor is filled with the most amazing characters. It is a fun filled time!“

“Parking…wish there was better parking! Food is yummy! Great variety of wings. Was fortunate to try a Bloomin Onion that should be more than a sporadic surprise menu item! Ooooh those tator tots are a must! Atmosphere…the people are awesome! Personally I think it’s dark inside and that carpet…but then I can’t picture the place any other way!“

“Stopped in for lunch with a friend. Nice place and even though fairly busy it was still quiet so you could talk with out having to scream across the table, and no music playing. These days most bars are noisy and this was relaxing a great change. We sat at the bar,surprisingly to find they had a ton of scratch and win tickets for sale along with of course keno,poker and lottery and pull tabs. Reminded us of the US pubs.Great service, sorry didn’t get the bartenders name , the Cod and Chip special was a super good deal…Huge portions. It’s their Monday SpecialThey even had a beer on tap I’ve not had for ages so that made for a great lunch.We will be back“

“On September 1st 2023 My friend and I went for lunch and sat out on the patio. The food was terrific and our waitress was amazing. We were reluctant to go there, but we decided to take a chance, and we are so glad that we did. This jewel of a pub will be our go to for our outings. I can't say enough about the great service we received. Thank you so much, it was a real treat.“

“Stopped in here last night on a whim with two friends and had an excellent evening. The staff, Jason, was professional, warm, welcoming and funny and spoke so highly of both the owners and his fellow staff that I didn't want it to go unnoticed. From the quick service, to the great music and selection to of beers/alcohol it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and we will be back. The other patrons seemed very comfortable, and there was a wide mix of people which is always lovely to see. Thank you so much for such a great evening!“

“I went in with a friend on my birthday to take advantage of the birthday discount, first time going here. Food was delicious, servers were attentive, good atmosphere. I had the prime rib and both it and the sides were amazing. I split the Chocolate Conspiracy dessert with my friend and it was a great end for the meal. Will definitely come back during Summer when I can enjoy the view/more daylight!“

Not bad prices on cold pints, food usually hits the spot but is a bit pricey for what you getI don’t understand people complaining about the service, they’re always checking up on us and making sure we have drinks, but I’ve never been when it’s super busy.“

“Reasonably priced draft. The previous statement was made years ago (roughly 5) and I haven't been back since. Thus, I can no longer vouch for them serving inexpensive beer. Hopefully I haven't influenced anyone with misinformation in the interim.“

“Had a vegan dinner there, for a special event. My food was tasty! The fettuccine could have been better with a bit of sauce or broth. But, great flavour with really fresh ingredients! Great atmosphere and amazing view, looking over the harbour lights. Superb service!“
