“The best pizza I have had in a very long time. Salt Pizzeria make one of my favourites…pizza fungi!! And they box it with a piece of corrugated cardboard under the crust so it doesn’t get soggy in the box. Many other types so I have to go back!!!”

“First time there tonight July 1-2023to celebrate birthdays. Alley the owner was so gracious and had the best personality!! The food was absolutely delicious! We started with crab cakes they were so good! Then I had the seafood pasta the amount of scallops prawns was awesome they definitely weren't skimpy on the seafood and the presentation was great! Then the dessert we had a free birthday dessert which was the sticky date pudding with vanilla ice cream! The service was good, friendly, fast and the establishment was clean! Highly recommend this place ❤️”

“The best pizza place in parksville hands down, I’ve had the wild mushroom pizza, artichoke pizza and the pepperoni pizza and was blown away!I’ve never been disappointed getting take out from here and everytime I’ve went to pick up I was greeted warmly and had some damn good pizza.This spot is definitely in our family’s regular rotation! :D”

“Having had to go GF over 5 years ago, I never thought I’d ever be able to have fish and chips again. I nearly cried when I had the fish and chips at El Faro yesterday: they weren’t just good GF fish and chips, they were INCREDIBLE fish and chips FULL STOP!! The fish batter was light and crispy, and the chips weren’t greasy, everything was delicious. The woman taking our order was so kind and helpful, and we enjoyed our meal and the ambiance very much. Extra points because they support live music! We will definitely be back when we’re in the Parksville area.”

“Best freshly made food! We are hooked. Waitresses are always friendly and very fast! One waitress takes care of whole restaurant. Including takeout and are extremely efficient! We never wait more than 5 or so minutes for our meal. Spicey chicken stir-fry and wor wonton, Hot and sour soup are a few of our favorites! It's an older restaurant but very clean. We love going there and so do our out of town friends! Very reasonably priced with large portions!”

“Keep an eye on your food as it's being prepped. We agree with the tasty reviews, but have questions about food safety. We witnessed one of the staff dropping a tartar sauce on the floor and another staff told her, "Don't worry; no one saw it."”

The owners were so accommodating to our large order so close to closing time which was so appreciated. Absolutely exceeded my expectations, and was one of the best take out pizzas we have ever had. “Fish & chips are never so fresh as the way they serve them here. Cannot get enough of it. And I love the crunchy coleslaw! The staff are very accomodating of my wheelchair and move furniture around so I can fit in without any problems. The very friendly staff are always happy and chatty even when its a takeout order, which comes out so hot that by the time I get up the hill and home its still hot and yummy. I enjoy seeing and hearing the families eating and laughing and joking with the staff. If you expect peace and quiet with your meal you better stay home because there is no avoiding the laughter of the customers and staff in our beautiful seaside town. Always a winner with the Brits who love their fish & chips!”

If you can't do spicy.. try the mild.. it's just right imo.. and try Naan Bread with it.. different types available.. I got the garlic Naan and that it was!! ? Yummy!!I will definitely be putting this place on my top favorites!”

Thank you for offering an outstanding healthy and delicious venue for us humans that have dietary restrictions and a healthy lifestyle. Everything on the menu is delicious. Must try their version of gluten free Apple fritters, we both had a food orgasm, then ordered more. Thank you for the flavour explosion!”

“We went here several times during our stay in Parksville. Their food is sooo good. We had the rice bowls and bibimbap. Great flavors, delicious rice, excellent vegetables. We also tried the dumplings. These are some of the best dumplings we have ever had. They are perfectly fried, and the filling is juicy and so flavorful. The staff here is great. Friendly, helpful, and professional. As a bonus, the restaurant plays K-Pop, so you can listen to fun music and watch the videos.”

“We went there last night for dinner, it was a Tuesday so half off wings, 3 of us ordered wings, and 1 nachos. Wings were great, though my order consisted entirely of flats, the table beside us got an order entirely of drumettes, that was a little disappointing. The nachos were great but they ordered beef to go on the nachos afterwards. The beef was unpleasantly hot, and I enjoy spicy food. The rest of the table doesn't eat spicy. Even the waitress was shocked at how spicy it was. They comped the nachos and were super awesome about the whole thing. All in all, amazing service and good food, I'd definitely go back, the plate of nachos was huge!”

“What a perfect steak house a hidden gem,. I’ve been here several all the servers, cooks manager owner I’m not sure are awesome. This is one of my two favourite restaurants between port Alberni and parksville the little Bavaria in port Alberni and Kalvis a hard decide for me. Two different foods but the same service and quality. Don’t hesitate try this place try the crab cakes try everything lol and also check out little Bavaria in port Alberni”

“I had a Young hostess Greet me at 4pm Wed March 27, she was very kind and provided excellent service. I ordered the beef dip it was delicious however some of the meat was a bit tough or hard to chew. the baguette style crisp bread a delight and the delicious au jus was fabulous.”
