“We phoned yesterday, made a reservation for a birthday dinner today at 5:30 PM, confirmed verbally on the phone. We showed up at 5:30 PM and they turned us away, saying they had no reservation. We showed them the phone number that we phoned yesterday to make the reservation. The phone number was on our phone, confirming that a phone call had been made. We recounted to them the conversation, including the discussion about the fact that it was a birthday and reminded them of the discussion about having a dessert with candles. Nobody recalled the conversation and we had to leave because they were fully booked. they tried to assert that our reservation had been for the previous day and that she even recalled serving a woman yesterday with the same name, a birthday.“

“Little Greek restaurant at Hastings mainly for takeaway, yet they have a table that can host a group of 6-8 people with warm service. We ordered different souvlaki and we loved them! It's one of the best Greek food around the neighborhood. Highly recommended!“

We met a young lady working there named Kora. She provided genuinely hospitable service. Making light conversation while mentioning menu items she liked. “Great vegan option at Granville Island. Huge plate with falafel, pita, stewed veg, salad, and crispy potatoes. They also give you a huge tub of hummus as well! The container they serve in are pretty hefty so you can reuse them at home ☺️“

“Stumbled across this restaurant on our last night in Vancouver and what a find. This is a small but very busy restaurant with lots of locals coming in a constant stream plus takeaways and delivery drivers. This was a Tuesday night and it was extremely busy. So it is clearly very popular and i see why!! The food was fantastic and very authentic. The portions were huge and very reasonably priced. Great wine too. It was a small team but they were constantly at it. Such a slick operation and the service was faultless. A special shout out to John who was very funny. An absolute must if you are in this part of Vancouver!“

He was very delightful to talk to. I tried their sangria and for the main, I had Moussaka, which was very delicious. They also have great desserts. Their chocolate mousse was so good ? The waitress was on her own and run off her feet and was apologizing for the time it took to serve us but she got to us and was very helpful. “This is a busy restaurant, even on a Monday night. They have a pasta special on Mondays and their pasta is so saucy and delicious.We were seated right away and despite the large parties seated around us the service was good. The servers checked on us regularly and were attentive. The food came out quickly. I particularly enjoyed the lime margarita and can't wait to come back and try other dishes on their menu.“

“Anatoli Souvlaki has been a long time favourite of ours, crossing a bridge to try The Greek By Anatoli - Yaletown didn't disappoint. Some noise is what we came downtown for, and there was plenty. The food was perhaps less plentiful than on the North Shore, but everything was perfect, especially the desserts! Can't wait to try again.“

I loved the spanakopita and the Greek potato the most. The tzatziki sauce they serve is the best that I have tasted anywhere. Perfect food and great service by the store employees. “I can't believe we have driven by this place for almost 3 years and have never dropped in.I was at a a charity poker tournament last Friday and "The Main on Main" was a sponsor so naturally I told my wife the next day that we had to drop in.Today was our second visit in less then a week and this place is just wonderful.The Greek food is authentic and old school .My kids are fascinated with the American Burgers to the point that we just can compete at home any more..Very happy to have discovered this place and my loss for not venturing down the block for such a long time .“
