“Very interesting brewery. Definitely some of the strangest flavor combinations I’ve seen in beer. Of all the beer I tried they were all decent, which the pizza Pilsner was spot on to pizza in a beer. Friendly Staff. Fast Service. Good Prices. A unique purchasing process, which comes from Canadian laws supposedly. Overall a brewery everyone should check out at least once.“

“Pretty good food selection here. They have trivia night on Monday which was a blast. Highly recommend their tartufata pizza which was bursting with mushroom flavour. The Margherita pizza was just average, it said it would have Fior di latte cheese but mine didn’t have any on it when it arrived and only Padano cheese which overall made it a bit oversalted. Would have been better with mozzarella like typical margherita pizzas. The wings were tasty but a little on the pricy side for what you get. The kombucha they have here is delicious and the seating and lighting and ambience here is super clean, new, and nice.“

“This is a nice off the main strip brewery with a wide selection of beers and a cider or two. The people there are kind help and just darn sweet. The beers are authentic micro brews, with a wide pallet to choose from. Definitely a come back place to visit“

“There are a few delicious beers on their menu, but really it just seemed like another typical East Van brewery. What made this place five stars was our server, Dianna. I would never expect such friendly, attentive, amazing service at a brewery. I'm a 40 year old woman that has spent my life serving in fine dining and I am not often blown away by a local brewery. “The place rules. First of all their beer is top shelf stuff. I find the 20 Footer and the Poet’s Tears very crushable. And not only is their Nitro Stout the closest thing to a fresh Guinness I’ve had since my trip to Ireland, but there are Eggplant Parms from Burdy Food Truck outside and self-serve sparkling water on tap inside. There is also a sauna outside!?? Also appreciate how they always seem to have fun partnerships with community groups around town, like sponsoring beer league hockey teams (go Wave Heads!) or raising funds for the Autism Network. “Went there one weekday evening and I loved how cozy it felt. It wasn’t loud nor was the music. We were served water right away and service was great. I asked for a taster and the size was very generous. The decor is nice as well and the place very clean. Server was very friendly as well. Will definitely go back again.“

“This was my second time visiting. I really enjoyed my first visit, so I expected this one to be good too.We initially sat on the patio, but I found the vibe there wasn't particularly special. Personally, I preferred the atmosphere downstaris.For food, we ordered the Aranchini and Tofu bowl. We waited a while for our food, and when it finally arrived, the food was already lukewarm. But in terms of taste, both were good, especially the Tofu bowl, which I really enjoyed.Regarding service, my friend wanted a sweeter white wine and asked the server a recommendation. She decided to get the recommended one, but soon after, he brought a red wine instead, saying it was the sweetest wine they had. She accepted it, but it was very unexpected and a little bit absurd since she asked for white wine, and he didn't confirm if she was ok with red wine. After we changed our table to inside, the service was fine.Overall, it was a bit of a disappointing visit. “We booked Faculty's tasting room for a birthday party with 35 people. The room is spacious yet feels intimate. It allowed all our friends to mingle and have fun. The staff was smooth and professional. And the beer menu was awesome ! Highly recommended.“

“Few things make me happier than when a brewery has a delicious Sour on tap. Stopped by Main Street on the way into Vancouver from Seattle for a day trip. I ordered the Hula Hula sour which was light and fresh and perfectly sour. It reminded me of a tropical mimosa. They had another sour as well, but I'm allergic to one of the ingredients so had to stay away. I would definitely drink the Hula again though! Our party also got a can of green apple cider (since they unfortunately didn't have any ciders on tap) and the Kingpin, which was a solid ale. It was very hot inside and we were halfway through our drinks before realizing they have an outdoor seating area with picnic tables, umbrella, grass turf, and dog water bowls. Perfect for groups! You'll have to get your glass swapped out for a plastic cup but that wasn't a big deal at all. I really appreciate the friendly employees as well.“

“We did a 5 day Beercation to Vancouver and Powell Brewing was one of our last stops. We sampled the Old Jalopy American Pale Ale, easily one of the best beers of our trip. We where treated to a strawberry mooshake sour, if you closed your eyes you might have a difficult time not thinking it was a strawberry shake, WOW, it was great. Great place and people.“

The writing is small so it may be difficult for people with farsightedness. The order of which is which is written in small letters at the bottom left. All of them are brewed properly and you can't go wrong. 16.1 dallers, about 160ml each. I was hesitant to tip, but it was getting crowded so I gave 18%, thinking it was the seat fee.“

I live above the bar in the Patricia Hotel, so I order from the bar when ever I can. Portions are big......so come with an empty stomach!“

The chicken sandwich our friend had was pretty good and my other friend had the Cobb salad with a perfectly cooked hard boiled egg, not to done.“
