“Service was excellent, my friend celebrated their birthday here and the owner gave us free ice cream for dessert. Our most memorable dish was the braised chicken with abalone. The sauce complements the chicken very well and it came in a generously sized pot. It was perfect along with steamed rice. The portions were well sized for my party; we were so stuffed we had to take some leftovers home. The atmosphere was calming. We had a great time here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic chinese food with good atmosphere and service.“

“Was wandering around Victoria and saw there was a Chinatown. I have a thing for Potstickers. So I figured I’d satiate my desire on this trip. I went by many places that only offered fried wontons. But I wanted real steamed/pan seared pork dumplings. Momi has the BEST I’ve ever had. Hands down. I had to order a second batch. Wish I could pick the restaurant up and bring it back to Orlando.“

“I’m Chinese and this is easily the best Chinese restaurant on the island. So happy I found this gem! The owner is super nice and he makes his own noodles fresh in house. I recommend the beef noodles, dumplings, the eggplant dish and the amazing savory pancakes! The meatballs vermicelli soup from here is my absolute favorite, it’s so delicious and it’s not on the main menu so ask for that when you order. Can’t wait to come back to try the roast duck. Give this place a try and you won’t regret it“

“New chinese restaurant in town, my family has been going and doing lots of pickup lately. Has a well rounded menu, lots to choose from. Has some more traditional Chinese dishes rather then western style Chinese food (yes they have sweet n sour etc). Nice and clean inside, pretty epic fish tank at the front (not on the menu). Highly recommend this place.“

My Atmosphere 5 star was based on what I saw as I picked up my take out , but the dining area did look immaculately clean, but keep in mind it is a retired Tim Hortons , not the fancy dining experience the Original Sam Pan in Saanich Center .“

“By far the best Chinese food I've had in Victoria. Having lived here all my life I can't believe I've never eaten here til now. All the dishes came out picture perfect, tasting just as good as it looked. Service was fast and friendly. I think this being a smaller restaurant (few tables) helps them maintain a high level of service & quality of food. Such a hidden gem!“

“I never leave reviews but felt compelled because the wonton soup with pork wontons is PHENOMENAL. The best I have ever tasted. Sweet and sour chicken balls are always a classic, but good nonetheless. I was quite disappointed by the honey garlic chicken and the vegetable chow mein, as they were quite bland and nothing to run home about.. however, the wonton soup truly made up for it. Overall enjoyable and would order from here again simply for the soup!“

“Update - I brought my Mom here for dimsum and it was terrible. There was only one staff member walking around with a dim sum food cart and the place was packed. The dim sum we ordered took a long time to arrive, then was served lukewarm and was so salty!! What a disappointment from the first time we were here. Save your money and go somewhere else for dimsum.First time here. Went for dim sum with the family for my Mom's birthday. The dim sum was fresh and very good. The service was top notch. A bit on the pricey side but worth it. I highly recommend for dim sum.“

We always get it delivered from Skipthedishes.We were very surprised and disappointed when we took our food out of the bag and noticed that the food tins they put the rice and chow mein in are now quite a bit smaller. Sizing down is maddening plus the price went up as well. So we pay more for less food. This will be my last time ordering from them because it was too expensive before but now with less food, it's just too expensive to eat there.“
