“Really tasty pork belly, excellent noodle texture in the mee goreng, mala mee, and chili mee bowls.There could have been more seasoning on the steamed chicken and fried chicken side dishes.I loved the limeade, but my friend with the Western palate wasn't as impressed. “2/18/24: 4.5/5Probably the best handmade dumplings and noodles I’ve had so far in LA and as good as most of the good local shops I’ve been to in China and Asia. Dumplings are hand made and kept in cold storage until cooked to order. Noodles are batched for dough and then rolled and hand cut fresh to order. The dumpling skins and wide noodles have the perfect Q bouncy chew texture. The dumplings can be either boiled, pan fried, or steamed. The shop doesn’t use MSG, which isn’t really a problem, but does mean their food is well balanced and just salty and savory enough. Their beef noodle soup is red braised and may appear lighter in color, but still packs a beefy flavor w/ perfectly cooked tender beef. Their in house sauces like spicy chili oil for wontons and hoisin sauce for beef roll are some of the best I’ve had and also well balanced. Definitely get the sesame pockets that have a nice thin crunchy shell. The pan fried buns are fluffy pillowy w/ a nice thin crispy bottom. The green onion pancake is good although just needed some salt. Think Noodle St still has the best beef roll pancake but You’s is pretty great still. And if you want a drink, try the fresh taro milk smoothie. The owner was super nice to talk to and service was great. You can order from the menu or they have a digital POS machine w/ Chinese+English and pictures.“

“This restaurant serves Chinese and Japanese food. This isn't Asian fusion. Most places I've been to serve either or not both. Zhenwei does both well. The cucumber salad is crispy with solid garlic and pungent flavors. The pork burger is light, crispy and tasty. The beef noodle soup has an herbal richness of cilantro which is different to what I've tried. However, you get enough servings of beef and vegetables. The noodles are a nice knife cut with a springy texture. My wife enjoyed the spicy CA roll with soy paper (optional). Has generous portion of real crab meat, no surimi. The Spider Roll has lettuce on the inside which gives it a nice textural contrast. The server, Jackie was grateful and humble. The appearance of the venue is fresh clean and inviting. Please come over, you will be impressed.“

“Great food, I know that there isn't that much reviews at the moment but it's a new restaurant. The skewers are delicious and the ambience is amazing. If you go you got to try the yuzu shots, pretty strong and really really good. My whole group gets the 24 pack and it's always a good time“

“Can't go wrong with this place if you want any kind of drink, flavor or size quickly has it covered for you. I know there are nicer locations of Boba places to choose from, but quickly is good enough and their prices are usually better matched for what you get.“

“This place is amazing. My friend made reservations for us about a month in advance. We were seated right away. We had the options of either seafood or beef menu. We choose the beef menu. This is my first dining experience so I was looking forward to everything. This was a unique 12 course experience and the staff here did an amazing job. Every item that came out was very good. Tucked inside a hotel you wouldn't know about this place but I am glad my friend found it. We now made it a yearly thing to come back here and have dinner here now“

Young(sic?) is the mama who works the front and her husband was cooking.She gave us a demo of the whole thing but also ran off a few great things on the menu, we ended up with avocado roll, dragon roll, and a stir fry.About $16 a pound to build your own stir fry which we loved to customize. Veggies were fresh and well cut. One of the owners or managers was walking around checking on customers which was so nice. It came in two boxes - one for the noodles and rice and the other just stuffed full of steak and vegetables (cabbage, zucchini) Only 14 dollars I think - with a can of soda The service is great - just one guy, and he's super friendly. Makes the food, gives it to you. I think he's making a lot of stuff to order so that's good - you can hear him chopping stuff fresh. Ambience is non-existent - but you don't care cause you're there for good food for a good price. All in all, a great, fast, inexpensive meal. Just so you know - it's just one guy taking orders and making it, so be nice and be patient. It didn't take very long“

“This Thai spot is phenomenal. The owner cooks food that is authentic, plated beautifully, and unapologetically flavorful. Each bite is a time travel bomb that takes me back to the time I was gorging myself at street food vendor stalls in Bangkok. The location is within an office space area used for AA and community meetings. It comes across humble and the dining area is separate from the actual community building space. The tables are clean and extremely well kept. The owner clearly pays attention to detail when it comes to maintaining her dining area and silverware/cutlery. The owner herself is very accommodating and welcoming. She takes the time to answer questions about the menu and offers adjustments to spice levels if needed. She also cooks and serves all the food herself with the help of one other individual in the back kitchen, so patience is key but completely worth the time investment. The food was so outrageously delicious I didn't have time to take more pics the first time I went. It was so good in fact, I came back immediately the next day to try the crab fried rice pictured below. The serving sizes are generous and the spice and flavor is second to none. I'm so impressed with how high quality all the dishes are and everything tastes so impeccably fresh. Crab fried rice - the crab meat is legitimately fresh and generously portioned. The rice is well seasoned and the veggies mixed in with the egg are a perfect compliment to the crab. I really enjoyed this dish and it comes with a side of spicy seasoning sauce you can add to kick up the heat a notch. Crying Tiger - not pictured below, but man what a stand out dish. The flavor of the rib eye pieces are so well balanced and the dipping sauce for the meat is so distinct it really adds depth to the rice and salad accompaniments. I really enjoyed the dressing on the salad as well, and the amount again did not disappoint. I have nothing but overall praise to give this place and I know I will be frequenting this spot often for the foreseeable future.“

“Chinese Café serves amazing, delicious, healthy Chinese food! This food is so good! We had the food delivered. They were on time, the food was hot and fresh, and each item was boxed in plastic containers. Egg rolls and rice were in traditional take out paper containers. If an item has pan-fried noodles, then the noodles and the sauce is packaged separately so the dish itself will be fresh. Also, each box for a part of an item was labeled so we'd know what goes with which food item. Soup came in soup containers and also in plastic bags so the soup wouldn't spill accidentally. The food is traditional Cantonese Chinese food. We ordered BBQ Pork, Won Ton Soup, Green Pepper Beef, Chicken Egg Foo Young, Beef Pan Fried Noodles, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Vegetable Egg Rolls. The flavors of the meat and vegetables are fresh! The egg rolls are crispy and delicious! The food is low in sodium! Fortune cookies were free with great fortunes! “Finally, a pho spot on Spring Street! I'm a big fan of pho and have tried several places in and around the LA area. The pho ga here is really tasty, delicious broth, a generous amount of white meat chicken, and fresh aromatic herbs and toppings. I've enjoyed this meal at least 5 times, and the quality is consistent every time. 10/10“

“We had the chilled sesame-soy shrimp noodle salad. It was cool and delicious, sesame-soy flavor. It was perfect to have at a warm weather such as today. But anything you get here, you won't be disappointed. They make it delicious and good portion size. They have excellent service and the staff are accommodating. I had asked for a cup of ice because my tea with the ice had melted away. The guy was nice and quick to bring me a cup of ice. Their soups are also delicious I normally get it with shrimp and chicken. And I always make sure to get egg rolls. I come here frequently when I'm in the mood for Chinese food.“
