“Gettin sticky icky eatin chicky.Korean fried chicken is the best fried chicken! Fight me! Pelicana Chicken opened up, awhile ago, and I've been twice. Once for their Chibob Lunch Special, and recently for their 1/2 Chicken w/ Signature Sauce.$1 Bud Light promo w/ purchase of any mealChibob-Popcorn chicken w/ rice, salad, daikon & a dollop of sour cream. A good, filling meal, the popcorn chicken was moist & tender.1/2 Chicken w/ Signature Sauce w/ popcorn & salad-Doused in a sticky sauce that's perfectly salty/sweet, Pelicana's 1/2 chicken was good stuff! Korean fried chicken is the best fried chicken. Pelicana doesn't stray from that statement. Each piece juicy, breaded expertly, and bathed in that tremendous Signature Sauce. Delightful!Service was good. The wait, while not short, wasn't inconveniently long for freshly cooked fried chicken. A good amount of seating, there can be difficulty grabbing a table during prime hours. Parking is at Artesia City Plaza, w/ Pelicana in between BCD Tofu House & Gerry's Grill.Pelicana delivers the goods. The fried chicken goods. Full of flavor & deliciousness, it's a great place when diet isn't a concern & cold beer sounds like a great idea. Pelicana has become a new favorite spot, and am eagerly looking forward to visiting again.“

“I ordered fried popcorn pa-dak, which was perfect for a 10pm snack. The green onion provides just enough of a vegetal touch to complement the crunchy texture and flavor of the batter on the chicken.Simple pleasure but perhaps a revolutionary concept for the American palette (that being the pairing of green onion with the fried chicken), given the absurd treatment of fried chicken in our popular culture and its contribution to a rather poor quality (and/or poor perception) of fried chicken on the mass market.I had it with a Sapporo pint which was a perfect match. The service was quite neat, clean, and friendly. All around, no complaints. The atmosphere was pleasant and perhaps a bit unnerving for a first-time visitor like myself. By the end of the visit, however, I had settled in quite nicely and was able to appreciate the amenable surroundings!Edit: I have to report that, the very next morning, I woke up with a horrible bellyache and a chalky mouth. Not blaming this restaurant or this experience, but I have to report it. I wonder why that happened?
Parking: A bit tight but not unnavigable.
Kid-friendliness: No kids when I was here but I don’t see why you wouldn’t want to bring your kids here.“

“This place rocks. The pizza is awesome and how cool is it that they offer so many vegan options (I’m not vegan but my partner is). Big recommend.“
“Pizza is great. I always come here once a month when I crave oily and greasy pan pizza during my periods. This is the place that I go to when I say "I deserve this." I've seen other people use EBT cards here as well! I never knew they accepted those type of cards here.“
