“I was craving poke and came for a quick lunch! They give you a piece of paper where you can just circle whatever you want on the bowl and you give it to the cashier when you're ready to order! I think because of this the bowls come out really fast! The salmon and tuna were big portions and really fresh! I definitely want to come back! This plaza also has a lot of parking so no need to worry about that!“

“This is the best Poke I've ever had, and I've tried alot of Poke places. Their prices are very good compared to all the other ones. The owner is such a nice, friendly lady!! I will not go anywhere else. This place is soooo good and also very clean. I've been to Poke places where their seafood has tasted either spoiled, or dirty. “A hidden gem within the Puente Hills Mall..The customer service was immaculate! If your on a time budget and trying to grab something quick and comforting..THIS IS IT!! We ordered the Katsu Chicken Plate..please note this is a huge plate!! It accompanied steam rice, Mac Salad and veggies. I also ordered the BBQ chicken bowl w/rice and veggies. Food was definitely a hit!! Although the ambience was a bit dark and wish they were seen more!!“

“I recently dined at a Rutts and it was a delightful experience. The friendly staff added to the overall positive atmosphere. The menu featured a variety of Hawaiian dishes. I highly recommend trying their Hawaiian Royals and Short Rib Tacos. The portions were generous, and the presentation was visually appealing. Overall, a great spot for those craving something delicious.“

“Been her multiple times now and the food is great. I am an order online and pick up customer and the service is great and always prompt. My go to order is the spicy chicken plate or shrimp plate. Both are great. Definitely recommend. Also the dole ice cream cone is an awesome little treat.“

“I don't normally do reviews at all. Saw this place awhile back and stumbled upon it again while driving today. First time experience, the price is extremely reasonable however the proportions?!? The proportions were beyond amazing. The food and the service here was just impeccable, cooked right in front of you. Quiet area too if you wanna get away from everything.“

It’s a small family-run counter serve operation with great Hawaiian inspired plate lunch comfort food, especially for meat lovers.The place is tucked in a corner of the Vons mall at the southwest corner of Myrtle and Foothill, so plenty of free parking. The chef and manager Ken took my order and was very friendly and helpful to recommend certain specialties on their menu.I ordered the Chicken Combo (BBQ Chicken and the crispy Katsu Chicken) and the Hawaiian BBQ Mix (BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beef, and substituted Teriyaki Chicken in place of Kalbi Beef). Both plates come with two scoops of white rice and a scoop of Mac Salad. See images.Their BBQ Chicken is definitely a specialty, flavorful, and both combos I received were a generous serving of the moist and flavorful chicken.I would go back the next time I’m in the mood for Hawaiian plate lunch and would recommend 5 stars compared to other local counter serves in Monrovia.“

“Clean environment, reasonable prices, large portions (poke bowl), friendly & professional owners! Haven't even begun to describe the food, which is AMAZING! Very good quality. I've only ever gotten poke bowls but I need to try the sushi soon. 5 stars all across the board!!! BTW, they close at 8:30pm not 9pm. I came at about 8:25pm thinking they were open until 9pm and they served me with a smile!! Add this place into your take out rotation, you don't want to miss out!“

“Alohaus Poke Bar isn’t your typical poke bar, they also offer other Hawaiian goodies. The food is delicious and the staff members are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Alohaus and would gladly rate them 5 stars!“

“Love Poke and this place has fresh fish and vegetables and I've been multiple times and it hasn't disappointed which says consistency - hard to find these days. It's the usual line up of choose your base: salad, brown or white rice or half/half and then proteins and add on's. Highly recommend coming out here to have a delicious poke on rice and salad.“

“I ordered the House special mixed plate as it came with macaroni salad, white rice, bbq chicken on top, bbq beef on the bottom, and Katsu chicken too. Two cups of sauces: teriyaki sauce and katsu sauce. Delicious meal. Four tables outside in the front and parking in the back.“

“I’ve been to other Ohana’s it’s always been a good meal, this place isn’t any different.I just had 4 spam musubi’s and 2 chicken musubi’s. All were delicious and filling for the lunch hour. I weil suggest “easy rice” for less rice and the chicken/spam were cooked/sauced perfectly.I’d definitely come back and try their other menu items.“

“Very satisfied. I stopped by today after my grocery haul and I'm really happy I did. I got a small poke bowl and it was filling but light enough to watch my calories since I was able to get half greens. Everything was fresh and the gentleman who helped me was very nice. Will be stopping by here from now on to get my poke bowls.“

“Why this place has 3 stars and not 5 is beyond me. Food is excellent, BBQ Chicken is fantastic, so is their Katsu Chicken. Portions are generous and price is more then fair for what you get. My family and I love this place and are so glad we decided to try it about a year or so ago. Always have to get a few Spam Musubi, they are great. The Loco Moco plate is also very good. We have tried most menu items and Haven't had a bad dish, everything has always been very good. The service has always been good too, the restaurant is clean. Can't ask for more. Definitely a favorite!“
