“I have been grabbing pizza from here from time to time and they never failed to make a great 4-cheese white sauce pizza. Reminds me of what my mom picked up back in North Carolina when I was a kid. Ordered on the phone today and the guy accidentally heard “Portuguese” instead of 4 Cheese. They had both on the menu, I had no idea so I felt bad! Thankfully he did not charge for another pizza and actually upgraded me to a bigger size. He let me try the Portuguese slice too. Great place, food, and service!!”

It’s near some sort of an office building/campus so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend leaving SF to come here (it’s not exactly a bustling little neighborhood with other things to do) but it’s a great spot to grab a beer if you’re local to Daly City.”

“I was craving Mexican food and my friend recommended this place. The restaurant was in a nice and a quiet plaza and the staff was friendly. You can get one free bag of chips and salsa but anything more is extra charge. They weren't very impressive either. I ordered the California burrito and they use waffle fries which was a cool and unique approach. The meat was well seasoned as well! I enjoyed the burrito but it was a little pricey for me.”

“This place hits the nostalgia factor for me in big way. Growing up my parents would take me to similar family friendly Mexican spots in the east bay like this where they would serve a ladle full of beans and a small mountain of rice with all plates. The trifecta for my first meal here was a combination plate with enchiladas and tacos served with ground beef and shredded chicken.....I was in absolute bliss. Add into the mix great chips/salsa, guacamole and pitchers of margaritas and you've got a spot that clearly has some staying power. IMO places like this are incredible barometers of who you are as a person. There's literally nothing to not love about it and yet I read these reviews and laugh. People need to recognize it for what it is...an amazing greasy spoon Mexican restaurant. The fact you can walk to the beach from here and work off the meal and catch an amazing sunset....I will be back!”

“Living here in Daly City definitely has its benefits, the greatest being everything I would need or want is no less than 2 miles away from me! That said, I'm absolutely ecstatic there's a Nick The Greek in Westlake Center. This particular branch is quite large and airy, and it's very obvious where to order the instant you walk in. The staff here is very friendly and they know how to make great food! There's another Nick The Greek just down the road that was a surprising disappointment for me, but this one in Westlake is absolutely fantastic! I always get the Beef & Lamb Gyro Bowl whenever I visit any Nick The Greek, and Westlake is tied with San Mateo for the best ones I've had. I usually make it a point to eat here at least once a fortnight, since I can't go longer without!”

Was just boiled vegetables and noodles! I believe the mushrooms are supposed to impart the flavor. It was hard to eat. They also didnt have any house table sauces.One star less for the vegetarians. Vegetarians should skip this place. Otherwise food quality is good ?”

“Support this local business! The food tasted really good! There's a few taquerias around but THIS ONE! We ordered some cakes and they were fresh, prepared really well. My BFs dad spoke with the owner who is usually working, &sometimes they don't get any business on slow days:( &the food was VERY good! There's a competing taqueria close by that gets more customers &there's a BIG difference on the food quality. That it's shocking how much better this restaurant is yet less customersSupport this local business! The food is very delicious! There are a few taquerias around the area, but THIS ONE! We ordered some cakes and they were fresh, prepared very well. My boyfriend's dad talked to the owner who is usually working, and sometimes they don't have any business on slow days :( and the food was SO good! There is a competing taqueria nearby that has more customers and there is a BIG difference in the quality of how they prepare the food. “Easy to find parking (part of the nearby mall so we parked in the big lot there). We ordered the taro clam clay pot and steamed garlic eggplant. The eggplant is AMAZING!! Even my two-year old daughter who rarely eats veggie likes it. The clay pot is not bad either. They also have lots of great seafood options. Will def come back.Somewhat children friendly. (Clean high chair, TV, enough space). I don't remember if they have a changing table or not. Overall the food is amazing! They have a pond with lots of goldfish which kept my little one entertained.”

“I ate here for the very first time with my friend last Friday after work. I hadn't eaten here at Westlake Shopping Center in quite a while, so it was a real treat for me to have dinner here at Spiral. I ordered the Unagi Fried Rice because I really love eel. I don't remember what my friend ordered, but it came with fresh slices of salmon, tuna and octopus. We were both pretty hungry, so ordered us 3 orders of the California Roll Sushi (6 pieces per order), so we had 18 pieces of sushi. My Unagi Fried Rice was very moist and packed with flavor. My friend really liked his dish as well. The California Roll Sushi was prepared just right and we both really enjoyed them. The free tea was very nice as well. The restaurant was very clean, had a very relaxing atmosphere and not very busy when we arrived there. The servers and the manager were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place if ever you visit Westlake Shopping Center in Daly City.”

The food was great, I would get the Indian hen soup as comfort food if I lived nearby. The owners were also really nice, we ended up staying to play pool and they let us finish even though they were closing :) definitely worth going!”

“A typical McDonalds. This location focuses on kiosks, though a human can take your order if necessary. Everything is contained behind the counter. So no soda fountains. No condiments. Nothing in the dining area except tables and chairs.”

The portion sizes are acceptable for the price, definitely able to share with 2-3 ppl and/or have left orders if buying individual plates. All dishes came out hot & fresh and very quickly. I love Orange Chicken, but they don’t have this item. As a very good substitute is the Lemon Chicken ($10), highly recommend, as it’s now my favorite dish there. The Beef w/ Broccoli ($11) was delicious, but very saucy. Steam Rice Large ($3); we had leftovers… great portion size. Beef Chow Mein ($9), highly recommend. Vegetarian Hot & Sour Soup ($9 or $10); husband loved it! Definitely had leftovers. Overall with taxes, spend $55 (not including tip) for 2 ppl & leftovers. The only negative is they only accept CASH, VENMO, or ZELLE. NO CREDIT CARDS. Parking is very limited. Customer Service is awesome! Very friendly! We’ll definitely be back.”

“I've always known Bread Basket pandesal was good because I've bought them from grocery stores before. But today, my husband and I decided to stop by their store to get some freshly baked pandesal and it was even better! It was soft and fluffy just like how I want it. I don't remember ever getting excited about eating pandesal except for today. We also got Macapuno Ube Ensaymada, Ube Pandesal and Ube Loaf. I love everything ube that's why. =) Honestly, their baked goods reminded me of the times when I was growing up in the Philippines. It was that good! Since I don't live too far from them, I think I'll be visiting their store from now on to get fresh pandesal and goodies instead of getting pandesal from the groceries. I'm also looking forward to try their other baked goods coz I'm sure they'll taste great too.”

We ordered: #6: Half ja-jang myeon/half jjam bbong - I've never had jjam bbong so I got the combo and I didn't see the chili sign coz mannn that was spicy! But I love the flavor. I actually preferred it than ja-jang myeon Fried rice with spam, kimchi - not spicy and has enough flavor Soy garlic chicken - it was dry, even the sauce couldn't really save the dryness. Flavor is good but wish it wasn't dry. Good portions and affordable for Korean food.”

“Most of the time they get my order correct, but 20% they don't. Prices are on the higher side than other tb/kfc locations, they haven't had any KFC chicken deals in a VERY VERY long time. But their chicken is good. Drive thru usually runs pretty smoothly, not usually a very long wait. Staff is helpful & nice most of the time. Parking lot is ok. Public transit is close by. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN YOU CALL TO TELL THEM THEY GOT YOUR ORDER WRONG. I've been going here for several years. Bring back KFC coupons.”

“A gem in a somewhat older plaza area. Doubling as a Krispy Krunchy Chicken, this little shop boasts some of the best star bread in the area. You might not know, but they also have quite a sumptuous brunch. Everything from kare kare to champorrado, tuyo to tapa. The longanisa is not greasy, the tapa is not wet, they had this tasty pickled ampalaya when I went too. And it’s all only $20. Come early because it’s a small place, leave full because they have surprisingly a lot of options.”

“This restaurant is located in the Mission Plaza Shopping Center. There's plenty of parking. They share the parking lot with Lucky's, Jollibee, Red Ribbon Bakery, Iguana Taqueria, and Starbucks. When my wife and I entered this restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly cashier. We ordered the mixed BBQ combo plate, musubi trio, BBQ chicken plate, and the Kuala pork with cabbage. The mixed bbq combo plate consisted of bbq beef ribs, bbq chicken , bbq beef. The meats were cooked to perfection. They were all tender. They trimmed off the fat , which we really appreciated. The musubi trio consisted of spam, BBQ chicken, and chicken katsu. They were all flavorful. The Kuala pork with cabbage was kind of on a little dry side. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. The cashier told us that the orders would be ready in 15 minutes and they only took about 12 minutes. They were generous with the portions and the prices were reasonable. The food was still hot when we got home. We will definitely be back to try their Loco Moco, healthy plates, and Saimin.”

“I frequently come here for their original bingsu. The fruit is diced into tiny cubes with fresh watermelon, cantaloupe/winter melon, and mango. One order can feed one to two people, but I always order one for myself.In another visit, I tried their food, ordering the pork chop over rice. The portion is decent, and came with a boba tea drink. The pork chops was sorta bland, but I enjoyed them regardless. It's not something I'd return for. The bingsu, however, I will definitely return for, as I have several times now. I'm still willing to order other food items next time, but it's their dessert menu that's the real attraction for me.”

Gives you a free birthday sign to be placed on the cake. Told me that the cake is frozen so won't be ready to eat soft until 1.5 hrs later.”

“I've been going here for years now. I usually go here when I'm craving Taiwan Toast, bbq pork bun, cocktail bun... just to name a few. The place is always well kept and clean. You're greeted right away upon entering. I recently tried the mango green tea, and it was delicious was very refreshing and reasonably priced. I also tried the mango strawberry pudding. I thought it was so cute in its container. It wasn't too sweet and very light.”

We ordered Caldo de Res, and the veggis Super Burrito - and let me tell you, the burrito was indeed Super!!! It came with chips and house salsa. The portions are very generous and we could've shared just one burrito and still have some left over.The service was just excellent, very friendly and welcoming, adding more chips or salsa if you ran out... just like you'd feel at grandma's place.My wife is Mexican and she was very happy indeed with her soup, i.e. Caldo!!
